Beautiful cathedral with free audio tour
We used our Gocity Dublin card to gain entry to here, which made it a bit cheaper. It is a old historic cathedral with an adjacent park. We used the very good audio guide that was available and explained the history and stories of the Cathedral very well and there are 3 levels of detail of information at each stop. Basic story, more details and detailed stories. So you can be the judge of how long your tour is. On your travels don't miss Gulliver's creator's resting place. Worth visiting.

Interesting cathedral, the best way to learn all the facts is by using the audioguide, which is free. It lasts around 1h to visit everything, sometimes it was a bit crowded. There weren't many places to pray though. Friendly staff.
It was wonderful only disappointments was no access to cemetery grounds and upper level access
Visiting the Cathedral was the highlight of my trip. The history there is amazing, l learned so much about the culture. Going early was a good idea, the crowd was not too bad. I wish i would have had more time to enjoy the guided tour, we did the self guided tour.
Beautiful cathedral with recently restored stained glass and an adjacent park where you can enjoy the coolness and the view of the cathedral itself.

Of course I wanted to visit the Cathedral while in Dublin, I was surprised I had to buy a ticket for my family for a self guided walk through. They did provide a headset but honestly it wasn’t great, the content could of been much more interesting
Well worth a visit, audio guides excellent. We’ll be back😉
