This was such a great tour. On this particular vacation, I’ve been to Kensington Palace, Tower of London and Malahide Castle. Dalkey was the most fun! The interaction of the actors brought history to life. It is an adorable castle with so much history. My favorite was the old church and cemetery. My 18 year old daughter and 21 year old son loved it as well. Rob was our guide and did a great job.
We brought the whole family including our what a fantastic experience. The professional actors made it highly engaging for everyone. A Must Do (especially if you have a young one probably at least 6 years old.)

Superb! The team at Dalkey Castle really bring history to life with their lively reenactment of castle life in the Middle Ages. The tour lasts over an hour and is immersive. Minota, Rupert and the others were friendly, welcoming and very educational. Would definitely return.

I can't emphasize enough how much I enjoyed the interactive tour of Dalkey Castle! For me, it was the highlight of our trip to Dublin. The heritage center has done an amazing job of highlighting the history of Dalkey which is synonymous with the history of Ireland itself. The film before the tour was excellent. Then we learned more about the castle and its church ruins during which we interacted with 3 actors describing medieval life. They were just fantastic -- engaging, funny, and full of information! I learned so much while being thoroughly entertained. Dalkey itself is a gem and the views from the top of the castle were so beautiful! I would definitely recommend prioritizing a trip to Dalkey and a tour of the castle!

This was an amazing experience and look back at some of the history of Dalkey and Ireland. The actors/actresses were wonderful in portraying their roles in the castle and interacting with guests. I highly recommend this tour experience for anyone. I also want to specifically recognize Maeve, who was very responsive and flexible with adjusting our tour time multiple times due to cruise-related delays. She is amazing!
