We had an absolutely lovely experience with our tour guide, Đạt. Friendly, warm and knowledgeable, he showed us a non-touristy yet extremely enjoyable side of Hanoi. With equal measures of history, local lore and an exclusive peek into the making of the popular incense sticks and the traditional Vietnamese hat, Đạt helped us explore each experience at our own pace. He helped us with recommendations on what to do, where to buy things as well. If you are looking for a tour guide in Hanoi, he’s the best!

My mom and I just finished an incredible tour of the Incense Village and the famous Train Street, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. It’s hard to find tours that are truly comprehensive without feeling exhausting, but this was perfectly paced—we got to soak in the stunning colors of the incense sticks and the unique buzz of the train tracks without ever feeling rushed. Beyond the experience itself, we really felt like we got our money’s worth. Every moment felt well-planned, and the value we received for the price was exceptional. Our guide, Devin, was so incredibly nice and friendly, and made sure both my mom and I felt comfortable and well-cared for. It was so helpful having someone so knowledgeable who also shared such great local recommendations with us; it’s really helped us plan the rest of our time here. If you’re looking for a special experience to share with a loved one in Hanoi, I couldn't recommend this tour more!
