Vår erfarna Guide kommer att guida dig runt IWM huvudwebbplats, som beskriver den brittiska erfarenheten i konflikt sedan 1914, med särskilt fokus på de två världskrigen. Därifrån reser du till de gamla kabinettskrigsrummen.
Churchills (eller kabinettets) krigsrum hyste de viktigaste verktygen och personalen i den brittiska krigsadministrationen mellan 1940 och 1945, under ledning av premiärminister Winston Churchill. Vi kommer att titta på hans liv och historia, och utforska några av de ytterligare personer i administrationen, såsom stabscheferna och Churchills främsta militära rådgivare, Hastings Ismay.

We had a couple of guides who were kind enough to admit that this was their first tour as a newly formed partnership - they were excellent. They both have embarrassingly robust credentials, and so there is almost nothing you can ask for which they will not have an answer. However, they both did a wonderful job of "keeping it simple" and understandable - cramming three decades and two world wars of history into a 3 hour tour is no small task. Nicely done.
