För år sedan på Rwandakungarnas tid var det en gång en prins som bestämde sig för att dekorera sitt hus genom att forma geometriska former på hutens vägg med hjälp av komjöl. Med tiden utvecklades denna teknik till en populär form av traditionell rwandisk konst som heter "Imigongo." Under din workshop kommer du att lära dig historien om Imigongo Art i Rwanda. Därefter målar du din egen valda Imigongo (cow dung Art) för att ta bort dig.

My husband, my friend, and I recently visited Azizi to paint Imigongo with Theoneste. Theoneste was a fantastic host, sharing the history of Imigongo in a fun, engaging way, telling stories, joking, and laughing with us. We really enjoyed our time there and highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Kigali!

This was an enjoyable date night with my husband. Before we started painting the instructor gave us a brief history lesson on how they started using cow dung. She was the perfect host. We were allowed to bring our own wine and played music 🎶. I definitely recommend if your in Kigali.
