We LOVED this experience- the best thing we did on our 12 day trip to Vietnam. The instructor and her husband are so friendly and sweet. My fiancé and I turned out to be the only 2 signed up for the class the night we did it, so it ended up being a private class, which was really cool. Could not have asked for a better experience and we still make some of the recipes on occasion. Highly recommend.
We had a fabulous time at our cooking class with the delightful Rosa at her family home. It was a very hands-on class with very clear instructions and we learnt a lot about the Vietnamese way of cooking and ingredients. The end result of each dish was absolutely delicious and w e loved being able to eat the meal in the family Cafe at the front of their home. Rosa even provided us with copies of the recipes. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and would highly recommend.
Rosa was a great teacher, very helpful! I appreciated that I could cook Hue style dishes in my private lesson (Bun bo, banh khoai, and banh beo). Food was delicious. One reason I think this class stood out to me was that while other classes I've done in Vietnam were in a kitchen, a lesson at a family home had a really genuine vibe - definitely recommend this one if you're doing classes in other cities which are in restaurants. Rosa was also very helpful when my bus to Hanoi got cancelled, and she helped me get a new one sorted. Thanks Rosa!!
