Could not recommend this tour more. This tour is the best of both worlds, you get to experience the heritage train and see the Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Bay from there, as well as the Hai Van Tunnel (Southeast Asia’s longest tunnel) on the way back. The views from the heritage train was great, and the community carriage was so happening. I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel which was very convenient. The group is kept small, so it was very easy to communicate. My guide Thor was very friendly and was the best guide. It was easy to understand the significance and history of Hue and its kings. His explanations made it interesting and I had to continue to search it up online after the tour. I learnt a lot! He also has great phototaking skills and you’ll be very happy with the photos. Lunch was at Madam Thu 2, and you get to soak your feet in a little herbal spa before eating. The food was in Hue fashion - where you get to try a little bit of many dishes, and it was filling! Also, they made sure to keep us hydrated with water throughout the trip. Hue is warmer than Da Nang because it lays trapped in an inland basin from the Hai Van Pass. So make sure to bring sun screen, hats / UV umbrellas, and a fan. Because there is a lot of walking under the sun.

This tour was perfect! Sam and driver picked us up at the hotel on time. Company and Sam were very good with communication. We got to ride the Heritage train to Hue which the Hai Van pass was so cool. Then going to the historical sites in Hue was a really great experience. If we went on our own, we would not know all the history and significance of everything. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour. Thanks Sam and driver!

What a fantastic day! As a solo female traveller, I often book trips to see sites in safety and to learn things I'd otherwise miss. This trip was brilliant, from the early morning pick up at my hostel, to the train ride, the air conditioned mini bus, and the informative and enthusiastic guide (Sam you are awesome) Lunch was a highlight, local delicacies and so much food. Fabulous trip, very informative with small group. Talent did a great job very informative, we had a wonderful lunch at Madam Thu, train ride was very comfortable and fun.
The Trip was great! Sam & our driver were excellent! Sam was very good in explaining the history & culture of Hue and really tailored to our goals.
