How lucky that we chanced upon this “rent an Irish friend” experience. Patrick was delightful! We enjoyed every aspect of the tours- the craft beers were great, the seafood was divine, and the stories were entertaining. Hands down, this was one of the best experiences of our trip to Ireland and we highly recommend it.

After going on the Howth Coastal Hike with these guys on my Dublin trip last year, I knew I had to go on the Howth Seafood Tour with them this trip, and it was just as wonderful as I expected it to be! It was lovely to reunite with the hilarious and delightful Paddy, and he kept the whole group laughing and engaged for 3+ hours with jokes & stories while we ate fantastic fresh seafood, drank delicious beer & cider, and explored several different pubs & restaurants around Howth. The group was a mix of families, couples, and solo travelers, and everyone had a blast, so I think this tour is a dream day in Howth for foodies of really any age and background. Highly recommended!

I was happy I signed up for this tour. I was only able to stay a short stay in Dublin this visit and this tour perfectly fit the bill. Ideally combining a little change of scenery from the city condensed in a manageable 3.5 hour time frame. It was only about a 30 or so minute train ride from Dublin to the meeting point in a pretty coastal town. Mark made the day a lot of fun and provided history, food, beer, laughs, and was even kind enough to share his pups who made an appearance. He was lovely and as a bonus I additionally met nice people who I could share the day with. I’d recommend!

The Seafood Trail & Pints experience was one of the most enjoyable and relaxed parts of my time in Howth. I was with Mark, who was absolutely hilarious and made the whole experience feel easy from the moment we met. Usually these kinds of tours can feel a bit awkward at the start, but this was the complete opposite, it was fun and exciting right away, like spending the day with a local friend. We went through some of the best seafood spots in the village, tasting incredibly fresh oysters, fish, and local specialties while learning about Howth’s fishing heritage. Nothing felt overly “touristy”; instead, Mark shared Irish culture in a natural, engaging way that made everything feel alive and authentic. We also stopped in traditional pubs for a few pints, each with its own charm and character. It was the perfect mix of food, culture, and great company. I would 100% recommend this tour for any foodies or an ear for irish culture!

Delightful afternoon trip out to the Irish coast at Howth. The food and beers were great, but the company was even more amazing. We even had a few cuddly unexpected guests (puppies) and one pub had cats (we found 3 out of 4). As someone who has been to Dublin a few times in the past, this was a great escape from the city for a few hours.
