This private tour of Schönbrunn Palace was one of the highlights of our visit to Vienna. Skipping the lines allowed us to spend more time enjoying the palace and its magnificent gardens rather than waiting. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the history of the Habsburg dynasty to life with fascinating stories and insights. Exploring the beautifully preserved state rooms gave us a real appreciation for the grandeur of imperial Austria, and the gardens were absolutely breathtaking. The private tour format made the experience feel relaxed and personalized, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and enjoy the palace at a comfortable pace. Everything was well organized, professional, and exceeded our expectations. If you’re visiting Vienna, this tour is absolutely worth it. It’s the perfect way to experience one of Austria’s most iconic landmarks.

Alex was not just informative and interesting but passionate about the history, the palace and the whys. History explained through each room, piece of art, molding and paint color. Reflections of culture and royal duty evident throughout our tour based on Alex’s descriptions and humor. Excellent guide explanations. She very professional and attentive. I found it a very expensive tour for how brief it was, which was what it said 2 hours, but I found it very expensive.

The castle is beautiful and the tour guide was very knowledgeable; however, I think he failed to “read” our family to make the conversation a little more engaging. It also didn’t help that it was raining and the castle was quite full.
