For the price we paid it was quite substandard. The food was ordinary. The entertainment was ordinary and the entertainment should have been during the meal. Instead they had the entertainment whilst the sun was setting. The idea of a sunset cruise is to watch the sunset. It was a long way from shore, and we got back too early to see the nightlight. The service was not great we had three try and open our bottle of wine, the wine was pretty crap also. I would not recommend this cruise at all. Definitely not value for money.
The cruise was spectacular! We did the sunset dinner cruise on Independence Day to be able to watch the firework show at Ala Moana — great view. Additionally, the food was Ono. Big shout out to our server Danny who made sure we were taken great care for that night! Outstanding customer service, mahalo!!
It was such a wonderful time! Captain Stefan was so fun! lol His service was very good! But the timing was difficult to ask for a drink 💦 I couldn’t ask for one, even when I asked for one, because they told me later and didn’t come back.
Make sure you know what tier of the boat you booked. The buffet tier was great! The food was good and I enjoyed the entertainment. I liked the conga line at the end as well. Our attendant Blake, did a fabulous job!
We had a wonderful time with lots of fun from start to finish. The weather was nice and I was overwhelmed to see the beautiful sunset. Jazz live shows and shows were also a sight to behold and fun. Sunscreen is essential because of the strong sun, and it is recommended to bring a jacket as it can be windy. I became a fan of Stefan! Thank you.
It was the best service from start to finish! Great service from Captain Stefan!!!
I booked through a travel agency because I wanted to do a sunset cruise for my honeymoon. I was a little nervous because there were many people overseas around at first However, the captain, Stefan, spoke to me in Japanese, which was very heartwarming. I got seasick and felt unwell, probably because I was tired on the ship, but even then, I was asked by the staff to worry about being able to serve water and medicine in English, and the captain also asked me to do so. It was very reassuring to have a Japanese-speaking captain among so many people. I hope to come back to experience cooking and sans sets again when I am in good shape!
It was a very nice cruising dinner with a beautiful sunset! The cast members were also kind and enjoyed it even if they didn't speak English! It was an unforgettable cruise thanks to the friendly Captain Stefan!
The couple used it for their honeymoon. The staff, including the nice captain Stefan, were very kind to us. You don't have to understand English. Also, dinner lobster and beef are tender and excellent. I'd love you to try it. The views take in views of Waikiki's coastline and Diamond Head. It is also good to see the scenery change before and after the sunset. If you come to Hawaii, I'd love you to use it.
We did this sunset dinner cruise on our first evening in Waikiki, it was nice! Large boat, so a lot of people, which was fine, we knew it would be busy! The food options were good, lots to choose from, so everyone was able to get food that they liked (prime rib, bbq chicken, salmon options for meat, different salads, mashed potatoes, etc.). The entertainment was great! There was a guy with a guitar that was nice to listen to, and then the dance show was super entertaining!! Amazing views as well!!!
