I went on a tour to the old and new Hoi Ann village. Hoi An is a magical place very small but busy. Lovley market , cafes and restaurants. Tina our tour guide was very attentive to showing us around. Transportation was great . The lantern boats were magical, however I did not go on it feeling tired. But it was a great experience.
Good vibes Hoi an very romantic night time many lanterns and food is goo ( noodles soup) very peaceful not far from Danang city
“Hoi An offers a unique blend of charm and culinary richness, with cozy street food spots and delightful restaurants at every corner. The food is exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and truly memorable.”
We were lucky enough to be able to walk through the alleys of the old town around the very lively and really typical covered market , without any drops of rain while the day before the weather was catastrophic at the end of the monsoon season in central Vietnam . Interesting promenade , many shops of all kinds and also very good restaurants
Great place to visit. Every thing is cheap. Lovely people lovely food. Recommended buying barracuda at chips and fish .
Hoi An Ancient Town is pure magic! The lantern-lit streets, historic buildings, and riverside charm make it feel like stepping back in time. The local food is delicious, and the people are warm and welcoming. A must-see in Vietnam!
The old town of Hoi An is very nice. Especially in the evening when the lanterns light up it is even more beautiful. Be sure to look!
A street food tour at night is a must is you are in Hoi An. The atmosphere is great and food is delicious. This tour offers many different types of local food.
Good place to roam around. Its a Historical place which sells all foods on the room/ street. Fresh and hot foods can be had. They can explore the traditional food of Vietnam. Its a great city to visit and need atleast 5-6hrs to walkthrough. we did boating and Lanterns light on the river wishing our wishes becomes true..
It was a very disappointing experience for us and represented very poor value for money. The tour guide June was 30 minutes late as she hadn’t been informed by the tour operator about a change in date which we made a month previously. June was sick with a cough so we asked her to wear a mask. We felt rushed and our guide tended to walk faster than we did. We went to two food places where the food was very good. The second place had a very large quantity of food. We therefore were filled up and not wanting to eat chicken rice which was next offered though we did have some beef noodle soup at another place which was about to shut up shop and we were the only customers. Two of the four of us had an ice cream and that was it - food tour over!! It was a total rip off . We had a similar food walk tour in HCMC which was superb. June did her best but was compromised by the Operator.
