Din resa börjar med ett första stopp vid Notre-Dame-katedralen i Saigon och du kommer att ta många foton i denna vackra kyrka. Det är den mest imponerande katedralen i Vietnam. Modellen på Notre-Dame de Paris och byggd med material som skickats över från Frankrike, är katedralen det religiösa centrumet för Vietnams 6,2 miljoner katoliker.
Nästa stopp är vid Saigon Central Post Office. Det är en av de mest ikoniska inställningsbara destinationerna i Ho Chi Minh-staden. Med den charmiga koloniala arkitekturen och utsmyckade dekorationer är det en perfekt plats för dina foton på sociala medier. Dessutom är det en vacker rest av Vietnams komplicerade förflutna. Tan Dinh-kyrkan eller den berömda PINK-kyrkan är en av de mest underskattade sevärdheterna i staden. Den intensiva färgen är svår att missa och interiören är lika fantastisk. Under Tan Dinhs återuppbyggnad 1929 dekorerade den rika församlingen Francois Haasz och hans vietnamesiska fru generöst på insidan med italiensk marmor och skapade en rik, elegant känsla. För att lägga till en historisk dimension till Tan Dinh, är kyrkans grundare, Father Donatien Eveillard, begravd under helgen.

Stadshuset är ett arkitektoniskt mästerverk som färdigställdes 1908 och fungerar fortfarande som ett regeringskontor, så du kan inte gå in. Minh Dang Quang Pagoda är ett av de största templen i Ho Chi Minh-staden, upprättat av Mendicant Buddhist Order, en av de största buddhistiska sekterna i södra Vietnam. Den centrala åttakantformade templet toppad med en lotusblomma designades i traditionell kinesisk arkitektonisk stil.

Jade Emperor Pagoda är en taoistisk pagod som ligger på 73 Mai Thi Luu Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Det byggdes av det kinesiska samfundet 1909. Det är också känt från 1984 under det nya kinesiska namnet Phước Hải Tự, och som sköldpaddspagoden. USA:s president Barack Obama besökte pagoden under sin statsresa till Vietnam den 22 maj 2016.
Tân Định kyrka är en romersk-katolsk kyrka i Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Dess formella namn är Jesu heliga hjärtas kyrka. Även om det är i distrikt 3 delar församlingen sitt namn med angränsande distrikt 1:s Tân Định församling. Den byggdes under den franska kolonialtiden på 1870-talet och stod färdig den 16 december 1876, då Vietnam var en del av Franska Indokina.

Took this tour yesterday as a solo traveler on my first day in Vietnam. Pros: -clean, air conditioned vehicle -tour guide /driver nice, provided great communication the day before with the guide and months before with the company. -driver and guide arrived on time -lunch spot at a vegan/vegetarian restaurant was a solid pick and had delicious food -cold tea at cafe (orange lavender peach tea) was amazing (since I couldn’t drink the coffee w/ milk as there were no substitutions with nondairy milks) -guide was respectful and if I opted out of doing something there was no push to do it -bottle of water provided Cons: -45 minutes wasted waiting outside/inside a hotel lobby because the tour guide left his phone in the vehicle with the driver. The problem would’ve been resolved faster had the tour guide used my phone, as I offered to him, to contact the company via WhatsApp group chat informing them of the issue so they could contact the driver. This was only done by the tour guide AFTER the time passed. Initially the guide had us outside waiting but I told him it was too hot and I needed AC so we went into a hotel lobby. -I don’t know if the tour guide was new or if this is normal, but I felt like after lunch, there was not much information given as before. A few sentences here and there, unless I had questions to facilitate more conversation, but more silence and observation at the sights towards the end of the tour. -while the sights were nice/cool to see more could be provided (more stops) Overall, I think this tour was overpriced for what I received even more for the dilemma that went long than necessary and cut int the time of the tour I paid for (even more as a solo traveler). I chose forever vacation for this tour because I was extremely pleased with their instagram tour in Bali which I highly recommend as it is amazing and 100% better than what I experienced on this tour. However for this instagram tour in Ho Chi Minh City I do not recommend but suggest improvement to match the energy of the advertised video/pictures.

It was great! Time flew. Duong was very pleasant to talk to during the tour. He is very knowledgable about Vietnam. You can ask him anything you need to know about the country and he will be able to answer. For future tours, I would suggest adding more places to see. There are several buildings (smaller pagodas, other parcs) or authentic vietnamese streets we passed by that we would have had time to see in the 6 hours.

I had a great time with Daniel in HCMC. The ForeverVacation team was very accommodating of my requests even though my booking was pretty last minute. They were able to curate my tour based on my preferences and were flexible about the itinerary and the schedule. They weren’t pushy at all. Daniel was a great guide. He was very considerate of my needs (I was sweating like a pig and kept complaining about being too hot (^O^) ) so he would take me to cafes or places with air conditioning. I was able to see everything I wanted at a leisurely pace. Although we had a busy itinerary, it didn’t feel overwhelming at all. It was also great having Daniel around so I wouldn’t get ripped off by some of the sellers. I will definitely go on another tour with ForeverVacation when I’m back in Vietnam.

Fabulous sightseeing and far away from many crowds. Duong my host really knew the best places to go for great photos, telling me all about the history along the way. He even took me to a great vegetarian restaurant. I learned a lot about the architecture and the famous moments in history from which they’re known. Having an aircon vehicle was super important as it gets HOT! So take it slowly walking around, and get back into the aircon whenever you like as it’s at your pace. Thank you for a memorable time :)

My wife and I went for this tour as a part of celebrating our wedding anniversary. The team contacted me well in advance to keep me posted of the schedule and customize our tour. Despite the heat we ended up enjoying the tour of HCMC while getting great shots. Duong was great. His knowledge of history was very good. He even took most of the pics for us. Highly recommended !

Our tour guides Duong, Janie, Ben and Dhea were absolutely amazing. The tour was super informative which was great and the locations were beautiful. The car was clean and air conditioned.
