Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park är det äldsta utropade viltreservatet i Afrika. Denna park på 96 000 hektar är hem till African Big 5, Wild Dogs, Cheetah och mycket mer. Historiskt sett är detta också parken som ensam räddade noshörningen från nästan utrotning på 60-talet när mindre än 100 noshörningar vandrade runt planeten. Kung Shaka använde också den södra delen (Umfolozi) som hans personliga jaktplatser under förflutna dagar. Denna park erbjuder inte bara de mest magiska sevärdheterna och ljuden utan också några fascinerande historiska fakta. Din spelranger för dagen hämtar dig vid ditt boende kl 05:00 i St Lucia. Du kommer sedan att överföras till Hluhluwe-Imfolozi-parken, Nyalazi-porten (den södra delen av parken). Alla klienter som möter oss vid Nyalazi-porten snälla om du skulle vara deras klockan 06:00. När alla är ombord kommer din ranger att erbjuda dig en introduktion till parken, låt dig veta om området eller destinationen för dagen och du är ute på en magnifik dags djurlivssari. Parken är hem till African Big 5, Cheetah, Wild Dogs och mycket mer. Luta dig tillbaka och njut när Bush växer upp. Tidiga morgonavgångar är mer produktiva eftersom det är när rovdjuren är mer aktiva och förbättrar dina chanser att se dem. På heldags Big 5-safari ingår frukost, Bush-lunch och förfriskningar.

We unexpectedly had a private tour with Zama as a guide. What a great day! Seen many animals, learned a lot, delicious breakfast and lunch/barbecue! Zama is a very nice guide. Perfect day! We recommend it to everyone!

What a fantastic safari day in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi area! We were picked up at 5:00 by our ranger Zama and from the first moment it was clear that we were with an enthusiastic and experienced ranger. Despite the rain and cold in the early morning, we saw a lot of wildlife: buffalo, zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, kudu, warthogs, countless birds, white rhinos, lions, and even a crocodile. As a cherry on the cake, we saw three lions eating a zebra. Impressive to witness something like that up close. A special moment was the large herd of elephants with several calves crossing the road. A man came first to check if the coast was safe and made it clear to us that we had to keep a greater distance. A beautiful and impressive scene! The near-cheetah was an adventure in itself. As soon as Zama heard that a cheetah had been spotted, he did everything possible to reach the location. Unfortunately the animal was gone upon arrival, but the exciting ride over the unpaved roads made up for it. Zama clearly knew where to look, kept good contact with other rangers, and did everything to show us as much as possible. The combination of his knowledge, enthusiasm, and feeling for the wild made this safari extra special. In addition to the safaris, we enjoyed a delicious barbecue. In short: a fantastic safari and absolutely recommended! Thanks to Zama, we saw a lot of animals and experienced beautiful moments. Of the Big Five, we have already been able to tick off four out of five. Only the leopard is missing... 😉 Definitely do if you are in the vicinity of St. Lucia bent, and ask especially for ranger Zama!

Zama, our local ranger, was a Super cute guide! Did super his best ism other guides to find the animals. Passed extra for the giraffes. We saw a lot of giraffes, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, inshalas, elephants, crocodiles and some super cool was rhinos up close. Breakfast, coffee, tea, drinks, and the braai was very well arranged. Pick up point and reservation was very easily arranged.
Wat een dag met Zama! Extra moeite doen voor giraffen is zo zijn ding. Zo blij dat je het neushoornmoment van dichtbij hebt meegekregen en genoten hebt van de braai en het ontbijtbuffet. Bedankt voor de geweldige recensie!
We had a great day with Zama as our guide! A super sweet man and he was a good cook. Enjoyed a steak and sausage! Seen a lot of animals. He took his time with each animal so we could take nice pictures and videos. Zama thank you!
