Shoutout to our tour guide - Cliff - who was engaging and informative for the entire 2 hr cruise. Amazing views of Chicago from both the river and the lake, as well as all sorts of interesting architecture and history insights that I never knew. Plus the boat itself is an interesting part of Chicago history
Educational, entertaining, and all around enjoyable. Great way to see the city without all the crowds! Would do again in a heartbeat!!!! Thank you Cliff and all the Captains aboard the Busse.
This is a great tour of Chicago history and architecture. The narration was interesting and he answered any questions.
The tour guide, Cliff was outstanding. A lot of information was presented with no cues. He made the trip! Wonderful historian.
perfect experience on July 4th! learned alot and had fun!
This was a fantastic tour. The tour guide Cliff was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot. The boat was very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this tour.
Cliff is an awesome narrator, and doing a little of the lake and all of the Central fork/a little of the North fork of the Chicago River was awesome.
Cliff was our tour guide and his knowledge of Chicago is beyond exceptional! Cliff should host “Wait, wait don’t tell me!” He has a great voice and easy to understand and very entertaining. This the architecture tour all tourists should take!
I have done four different tours on the river since relocating to Chicago in 2019 after a few years in CA. Any time someone comes to visit and has the time, we take them on an architecture tour of the river. This tour was my favorite by far! Loved beginning in the marina versus the river itself, to get a fabulous view of the city skyline. It was my first time experiencing the lock system to enter the river from the lake. While familiar with a lock system having spent summers near the system that links Lake Erie with Lake Ontario, my guests had not. This coupled with the skyline view and lively narration by our guide, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. His historical stories were educational and usually funny, plus he added architectural interest as well. There is amply seating in shade and in sun, with snacks and drinks available for purchase. I would definitely take visitors on this tour again.
The tour guide was fun and enlightening with great knowledge. The whole team was friendly and welcoming
