Hämta på ditt hotell mellan 07:00 och 07:30. Den här turen börjar vid norra delen av Tian'anmen-torget. Ser Tian’anmen Rostrum, är det symbolen för det nya Kina. Du kunde se två par på 600 år gamla stenlejon, prydnadsspelarna, den yttre gyllene vattenbron och så vidare. Dessutom ha chansen att se alla konstruktioner på avstånd. Såsom National Flag Pole, Monument to the People's Hero, ordföranden Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, the Great Hall of People och National Museum.
Fortsätt sedan till Palace Museum (Förbjudna staden) , den största och bäst bevarade gruppen av antika kejserliga palats med 500 års historia i världen. Besök Förbjudna staden längs den centrala axeln från söder till norr i 2 timmar. Slottsmuseet (Förbjudna staden) är stängt för besökare varje måndag för underhåll, utom när måndagen infaller på en nationell lagstadgad helgdag.
Efter lunchen besöker du Mutianyu Great Wall cirka 2 timmar. Mutianyu Great Wall är känd för sina vackra omgivningar - tät skog och rika betesmarker som ändrar färger med årets säsonger. Om du vill nå den högsta punkten är linbanan ett bra val (valfritt). Slutligen återvänder du till centrum och har en chans att njuta av den kinesiska traditionella medicinkulturen i cirka 40-50 minuter (en fotmassageupplevelse ingår). Avslutade turnén och överfördes tillbaka till hotell runt 17:00 - 18:00.

We went in November, so it was pretty cold in the morning, with the early start. It does take a bit of time to pick up all the tourists, but once everyone was in, the tour went like clockwork. The guide was knowledgeable. I do think the Forbidden City tour is a bit rushed though. Lunch was pretty good. Loved the Great Wall experience! The final foot massage stop seemed more like a scam, so that was a let down...Jade factory was good for the general knowledge. I think more time should be given to the Forbidden City, rather than wasting time at the traditional medicine/foot massage place.
With a lot packed in I will break this down step by step: Pick up - late, I had to run to the main road, drove to another pick up point and then waited over 30 minutes. Was finally dropped 5 minutes walk from Tiananmen Square (my Hotel was only 5 minutes away - nearly 2 hours wasted) Tiananmen - disappointing unless you want to visit the mausoleum. We didn’t walk around any of it. Forbidden Palace - huge and impressive but no chance to go inside anywhere. The guide knowledgeable and organised (as he was throughout) Jade Factory - just an excuse to sell you something Lunch - fine and as you would expect Great Wall - it is impossible not to be impressed. However walking up is not an option, we were told for safety reasons but there wouldn’t be enough time for most people to walk up and back. £11 for cable car increases the tour cost by 30% Overall - OK and not bad value for money. Good if you want to tick a lot of boxes in one day. Be aware though that even using the cable car you need to be reasonably fit to do this tour.
I had an occasion to visit China, its two great cities, Beijing & Shanghai. I booked for the services of a tour company viz.Tour China @ China.com. I am writing this review to applaud their services. I had trepidation of the agency's genuineness as I was booking online from India but their assurance that payment may be made after reaching Beijing gave a lot of assurance. After having experienced their total package I wish to note here their professional handling of our tour. They are punctual and have kept their promise in all matters. The hotels selected for us were of high standard, the vehicles that carried us excellent and I have only praise for them excepting for the guides' communication in English. They are proficient in the language but their Chinese accent came in the way, difficult to understand a little. This could not have been helped anyway. During our visit we found Beijing and Shanghai amazing, with the peoples' sense of discipline, punctuality, duty consciousness and hygiene sense.
The tour started off with mr lee the tour guide rushing us and everybody after we got pick up. mr lee was rude and pushy with every one on the bus. We felt like we were rushed through Tienanmen square and the forbidden city with not enough time to take pictures. mr lee did not have any information on local landmarks as we drove by. mr lee was rude, pushy and rushy all day at all attractions. At the jade factory a couple on the tour wanted to buy some his & her jade jewelry but mr lee put the kibosh to it by saying come on now are get left. mr lee is not a tour guide but he is a cattle rustler and is insensitive to the tour group. The destinations were great , The tour guide mr lee was not. AVOID mr lee AT ALL COST
On our China trip with CET we had a two day visit of Beijing. We had excellent guide Jennifer. Very profesional, good historical knowleadge, very helpfull and flexible. Highly recommend. Great Wall , Forbiden City, Summer Palace are must to see things. Da Dong is must to visit restoran, their Pekin Duck is the best.
Good value tour - our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Downside was visit to health clinic with a hard-sell for Chinese herbs
The forbidden city has history to boot, the Great Wall equally impressive. The tour guide was knowledgeable, the experience from booking online to getting tickets at our hotel room when we got there was excellent. Highly recommended to experience at least these two sites.
Spent the day with Michael at Tiananmen Square, forbidden city and the wall. We were picked up around 7am and it was an action-packed day. Michael navigated the crowds well and kept us up to date with information throughout. He was very helpful and knowledgable. We also visited a jade factory and a tea shop with ceremony & tasting which I was not keen on doing but both were surprisingly interesting and no one forced purchases on you. We were in a group of 14 but at the wall on our own and could roam as we pleased. I have an allergy to gluten and Michael asked the lunch place to amend the menu to accommodate me. It was a great (and very tiring) day!
Due to the rehearsals for the upcoming National celebration, roads and Tiananmen square was closed. We were only told when we were picked up. Surely they would have known earlier and could have added another site like temple of heaven to make up for it or refunded money back. The worst was being told they cannot drop all of us back to hotel which was part of the tour package due to road closures. Instead they dropped us all at a subway station. Appalling as tour was cut short early so surely they could have driven around the road closures to get us back. Felt as if the tour guide wanted to get rid of us ASAP. Would not book with them again!
Dear RJLe2017, Greetings from China Educational Tours. I am so sorry that you have missed visiting Tiananmen Square and did not have good experience on this tour. Tiananmen Square and the road to it was closed for the rehearsal of the military parade for the upcoming celebration of the 70th anniversary of PRC. For safety reason, the rehearsal was confidential, so we did not receive this notification until that morning. This is an act of the government and force majeure, which is beyond our control. Tiananmen Square is free of charge, so there was no entrance fee to be refunded. In that morning we heard from our guide that the bus could not get into the street which your hotel was located and he had to walk to the hotel to pick you up. Some of the customers stayed in the hotels inside the blocked area, where people were not allowed to walkin in late evening. So the guide had to take these customers back before the blocked time. He did not skip visiting any attractions or cutting short the visit time, he was just cut off the two shopping stops to save time. Many of the streets are closed, so the driver had to drive around the city center to find the best spot to drop you off. It was 8pm when he finally dropped you off at the nearest subway station. I am sorry that our guide should have explained the situation clearly to avoid any confusion. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Your understanding is highly appreciated. Excellent dry knowledgeable tour guide and wonderful trip despite huge overcrowding at the Great Wall.
