Kom med i besättningen ombord på Tammy Jane för en 2-timmars pedagogisk och pittoresk erfarenhet av låglandet när vi tar ut Shrimping! Vi uppmanar dig att lära dig om vår hälsosamma saltmarmiljö, och presentera dig för några av havslevorna som vi säkert kommer att dra upp i våra nät (förutom räkor!). Vi kommer att undersöka hur olika ekosystem sammanväxas för att skapa den rika matwebben som ger mat till våra bord. Detta är ett unikt tillfälle för gäster i alla åldrar! Om vi fångar räkor ombord på en expedition kommer besättningen att packa upp en del för gästerna att ta hem.

Ombord på denna två timmars utflykt kommer du att utforska hur olika ekosystem flätas samman för att skapa det rika näringsnätet som ger mat till våra bord. Detta är en unik möjlighet för gäster i alla åldrar! Om vi fångar räkor ombord på en expedition kommer besättningen att paketera en del för gästerna att ta med hem. Alla utflykter avgår från Harbour Town Yacht Basin inom Sea Pines Resort. Det tillkommer en inträdesavgift på 9,00 USD per fordon för Sea Pines Resort som måste betalas kontant. Detta portpass är giltigt hela dagen, så få ut det mesta av Sea Pines Resort. Incheckning för din räktråling ombord på Tammy Jane kommer att ske på Vagabond Cruises bokningskontor som ligger precis till höger om Harbour Town Lighthouse. Great crew! Enjoyed trip. A bit overbooked though Seems shrimp are better chances of being caught early in morning 9 am trip.
My family of 4 had a nice time on the shrimp trawling boat. Plenty of space to sit but not around the table where the catch was laid out. One large family (mostly adults) took over the space and was oblivious to those around them who also wanted to see and hold the catch. The crew should look out for this and clear space on all sides of the table. The crew was very friendly but it was hard to hear the informational portion on the ride out because the only microphone was for the captain behind the wheel. We only caught a bag full and the rest were fish. But it was a beautiful day and we got to see dolphins.

The trip was great! Easy boat with a great crew! Ian's background made the expedition even better when going through our surprise catch!
All we can say is- Sam made the day! He chatted with my son and I on and off throughout the entire boat ride- sharing information about shrimping, Hilton Head, fishing, and even talking about the internship programs available on the island. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and showed professional, yet relaxed, leadership as he guided the intern and other deck-hand on how to successfully prepare for an handle the shrimp trawling. He went above an beyond with helping our son take advantage of fishing on the island- hooking us up with some bait from our shrimp voyage and taking time after his shift to help us on the dock. We thoroughly enjoyed our shrimp trawling adventure- including the delicious shrimp we were able to take home and eat afterwards and the shark show we saw off the side of the boat. Definitely 5 stars! Thank you, Sam and crew!
Friendly atmosphere everyone was very friendly and laidback. I was excited to see all those Seagulls flying around the boat never experience that before.
Two adults traveling. Awesome Captain and crew. Fun and informational. We were on the first outing of the day and had a pod of dolphins with us almost the whole trip loved learning about the sound , shrimping and enjoyed our catch. Thanks for an incredible morning on the water.

This was such a great unique experience for our family! They pulled up so much sea life! We saw sharks and dolphins and seagulls up close following us. We had Jude and 2 wonderful captains on board to guide us. They were informative and fun. We were allowed to take shrimp home, but we were staying at a resort hotel so had to pass. Best 2 hours spent in HH!
We had such a great experience shrimping. The captain and grew were very knowledgeable and friendly.
