Med buss: 07:30. Checka in på River City Shopping Complex – Sipraya Pier 08:00. Avresa från Bangkok med luftkonditionerad buss till Ayutthaya-provinsen. 09:15. Anländer Ayutthaya, världsarvet antika staden. Thailands tidigare huvudstad (B.E.1350 - 1767). Ayutthaya förklarades som ett världsarv av UNESCO 1991, den 13 december.
Ett av de mest fantastiska Buddhas huvuden i roten av Bodhi-trädet, det var också det kungliga klostret och fungerade som residens för den högsta munken under den tidiga Ayutthaya-perioden.
Det största och viktigaste templet med i det kungliga palatset i Ayutthaya, och det är också prototypen på det stora palatset och smaragdbuddhatemplet i Bangkok.
Beläget bredvid WAT PHRA SRI SANPHET. Det finns en stor buddhabild i brons som ursprungligen var inskriven i det öppna området utanför det kungliga klostret och senare täckt av detta kapell.
det tros vara byggt i mittfasen av Ayutthaya-eran. Man tror också att det hade byggts ett pantheon för att skydda Buddhabilden men pantheonet förstördes. Buddhabilden har renoverats många gånger, särskilt 1954 e.Kr. och 1989 e.Kr., tills Buddhabilden ser helt vacker ut.
Med kryssning: 01:00. Välkommen ombord på Grand Pearl Cruiser i WAT CHONG LOM (Pathum Thani-provinsen) för att kryssa tillbaka till Bangkok längs Chao Praya-floden. Utmärkt lunchbuffé som inkluderar en mängd olika orientaliska och västerländska rätter kommer att serveras. Kryssningen går genom Nonthaburi-piren, Koh Kret (Mons samhälle) och lokala thailändska byar. 03:00. Kaffepaus kommer att serveras medan du njuter av de förtrollande sevärdheterna längs flodstränderna som Royal Barges House, Thammasart University, The Royal Grand Palace, Wat Arun (Gryningtemplet) etc. 04:00. Don't use Viatour, check who runs activity then go to them direct, Eg Viatour confirmed this tour, sent E-ticket, then at 9.00pm night prior got msg from operator saying activity did not run on day booked. (Next day just got msg from Vuatour askkng for review even though cancelled). Cancellation messed our plans up completely and not the first time with Viatour, now use GetYourGuide whenever we can. Operator allowed switch to another day. In the event rated tour 3 out of 5, fairly good coach, ok but not brilliant guide, Boat was absolutely nothing like the one in the picture, buffet was ok at best, to call boat trip "return by biat" a joke, boarding point was 2/3 of way back to Bangkok! Was long enough on boat though

Very Nice tour with a visit to 3 historical temples of Ayuthaya and a very amazing Cruise back to Bangkok on the famous Chao Praya river with excellent lunch

The Ayutthaya Temple tour by cruise was a perfect blend of history and relaxation. Sailing along the Chao pharaoh river offered stunning scenic view and a peaceful vibe. Exploring ancient Temple brought Thai heritage to life with great guide insights. Highly recommended and well organised!

Good combination of experience guide and tour. Guide explains very well to whole group to spot history. Heritage site of very famous by UNESCO. Happy to go by cruise, amazing view at the bank of Chao phraya River.
