Heldagstur UNESCO-kyrkor och Kalopanayiotis på Cypern

Beskrivning

This was a great and exeptional tour. Saw a full selection of the UNESCO churches and the driver took care of all the obtaining keys and entrances. Had plenty of time to view the churches at each stop and while the driver was not a guide she gave me great explanations along the way as did her companion who was training for running this trip. The car was very comfortable and was driven well and safetly. The general conversation with the two drivers gave me also a great insight into the culture and history of Cyprus. I would higly recommend this if you are interested in the churches either from an artistic, historic or faith prospective. Over all if far exceeded my expectations as to how it would go and by the end I felt that I had been on a wonderful day out with a couple of new friends instead of a paid trip. Thank you Maria and Chis
I did the UNESCO Churches tour with Maria on January 19th, along with my elderly parents. We had a nice time on the tour, but it def ended on a sour note: As we were being dropped off at our hotel, I was getting out my credit card to pay the driver and was unexpectedly notified that it had to be CASH ONLY. I was like "what, really??" She said, "yes." The price of tour with transfer was about 450 euros, and I don't walk around with that kind of cash, so I'm immediately stressing out trying to juggle helping my elderly parents with their luggage while Maria wants me to cough up the cash. She ended up driving me around in the dark trying to find an ATM, we eventually found one and I paid an extra 15% to the ATM along with the ATM access fee and non-Chase Bank ATM fee. So it cost me about an extra $130 USD because either her or iTaxi decided to surprise me with a cash-only bill. Also, if you look at iTaxi's website FAQ it says that they accept cards. This situation was completely avoidable on the part of the tour operator, but I guess they'd prefer to create a substandard, stressful, and costly customer experience
What a fantastic tour! Everything was wonderful from the booking experience (very communicative and accommodating) to the tour. Fytos treated us like family and provided us with such a unique day, telling us about the history of Cyprus and it's people. The churches were absolutely beautiful, and the mountains gave us a different view of Cyprus from beaches. If I could give them a million stars, I would!
Coming to Cyprus and not seeing the UNESCO monasteries of the Trodos Mountains is like going to Rome and not seeing the Colosseum! If you are passionate about art, obviously. Only Taxi Cyprus organizes a tour of the monasteries: the price is a little high but it's all worth it. You visit 6 out of 10 Unesco monasteries in 1 day. Doing it alone is impossible: some are uncomfortable, others require a phone call to open them The guide Maria was amazing! Professional, punctual, precise even on very difficult roads. In 8 hours we arrived and saw everyone. With super typical lunch! It's worth it, trust me. And only they organize it.
Maria is a great driver and guide. She shared lots of useful information about the whole country. And she called ahead to make sure each church was open for us . Overall a wonderful day.
This was an excellent tour, run by a family business, with great service. Our driver/guide has a wealth of knowledge on Cyprus’ history, and was very interesting to talk to. We visited UNESCO churches that the coach tours don’t visit - they were all amazing. This was the best trip of our holiday. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.
I am very happy to recommend iTaxi Cyprus. I booked by email a transfer and a Day trip to Northern Cyprus. We were a group of 10 friends, the driver met us with a sign at the airport. The driver for the trip was also punctual, kind, helpfull and told us a lot about the country. We were all very satisfied with the service and we booked another trip. Everything went great even though we booked at the last minute. I highly recommend iTaxi - fair, flexible, frendly.
