Heldagsutflykt till Titicacasjön till Uros och Taquileöarna är ett populärt och det bästa sättet att bevittna livet på dessa avlägsna öar. Titicacasjön är 3 812 meter över havet och erkänd som världens högsta farbara sjö. Titicacasjön ligger på gränsen mellan Peru och Bolivia. En stor del av sjön tillhör Peru. Det är hem för många olika avlägsna öar där fiske och jordbruk är den huvudsakliga inkomstkällan. De flytande öarna Uros, Taquile och Amantani är de framstående och är öppna för turism. På denna heldagstur kommer du att besöka de flytande öarna Uros och Taquile Island med vår lokala tvåspråkiga (engelska och spanska) reseexpert. Du kommer att få en inblick i lokalbefolkningens liv här och hur de upprätthåller sitt dagliga liv med minimala resurser. Lokalbefolkningen här är oberörd av modernitet och behåller sina gamla traditioner och seder. De pratar fortfarande i Aymara och Quechua.

Din episka turné börjar med en transfer till båtpiren där du ger dig ut på en 25 minuters båttur för att se livet på de flytande öarna Uros. När du börjar segla iväg kommer du att få en orörd utsikt över de snötäckta Andinstopparna på avstånd. När vi kommer till Uros-öarnas stränder kommer lokalbefolkningen att välkomna dig och introducera dig till deras liv på denna konstgjorda ö. Folk här talar Aymara, vår reseguide kommer att lära dig några ord så att du kan hälsa dem på deras språk. Chefen för samhället kommer att demonstrera hur de bygger dessa öar och kommer att dela historien om det. Om så önskas kan du köpa några souvenirer här. Lokalbefolkningen kommer sedan att erbjuda en kort tur på sin totora vassbåt till huvudön Uros (detta har en extra kostnad på 10 Soles). Du kommer att ha lite ledig tid att strosa runt, ön är också gjord av totoravass. När du har fått dig mätt på historien och vyerna kommer vi att ge oss ut på en 2 timmars resa till Taquile.
Eftersom båten skulle nära Taquile Islands stränder, kommer vår lokala expert att ge dig en kort information om lokalbefolkningens liv här. Det är nästan 45 minuters promenad uppför kullen till toppen varifrån du kan beskåda utsikten. Taquile är hem för det bästa Andinska hantverket. Män här stickar medan kvinnor spinner ullen. Folk här klär sig utifrån deras civilstånd. Vår guide kommer att förklara detta för dig i detalj. En byhövding kommer att ge dig en demonstration om hur de färgar ullen med grönsaker. Efter en kort introduktion stannar vi till för lunch på en lokal restaurang. Efter lunch vandrar vi tillbaka ner till piren och går ombord på vår båt för en returresa till Puno. Sträckan på 36 kilometer (22 miles) kommer att tillryggaläggas på ungefär två och en halv timme. Vi kommer att nå Puno kl. 05.00. Vår representant kommer att träffa dig och transportera dig tillbaka till ditt hotell i centrum av staden.

We had an amazing experience on the full day Lake Titicaca Tour with Discover Lake Titicaca. Everything was very well organized from beginning to end, and the day gave us a wonderful insight into the culture and traditions of Lake Titicaca. Our guide, Fausto, was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the history and local communities. His explanations made our visits to the Uros floating islands and Taquile Island much more meaningful. He was always attentive, happy to answer questions, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, especially around Taquile Island, and we really enjoyed learning about the traditional way of life, textiles, and customs of the local people. The entire experience felt relaxed, informative, and very well coordinated. A huge Thank You to Fausto and the Discover Lake Titicaca team for making our day so memorable. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Peru, and we would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Puno and Lake Titicaca.
Little content and superficial information regarding the place, the inhabitants, the history, etc., etc. Too much commercial interest in selling you crafts, boat rides, and taking you to lunch at a place that is not accessible to everyone.

A perfect day trip from Puno! One of the guides, Julio, personally picked me up from my hotel and took me to the shuttle bus, which was a great start to the day. I was then placed in Fausto's group, and he was an outstanding guide. His English was excellent, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and cultures. Pablo was another standout guide who gave entertaining and informative commentary during the boat cruise, making the journey even more enjoyable. Visiting the local families on Uros was a truly special experience, and lunch on Taquile Island was exceptional. We enjoyed delicious quinoa soup followed by fresh trout with Peruvian potatoes, and there was also a vegetarian option available. The transport was comfortable, the entire day was well organized, and it offered fantastic value for money. A must-do experience when visiting Puno!

We did the full day tour with guide Ruben and it was very unique experience. Nancy picked us up from the hotel on the day of the tour and she was very kind and helpful. They also stored our bags while we were on the tour. Taquile island involved a bit of hike but it was very well organised with regular stops. The views were out worldly and the lunch was very delicous. Highly recommend the tour and Discover Lake Titicaca. A big plus if you get Ruben as your guide.

The full day Lake Titicaca tour was an excellent experience. Visiting the Uros Flaoting islands and Taquile Island was fascinating,and the scenery on the lake was stunning. We opted for this full day trip before travelling to Bolivia and we are very happy with everything. The communication, guide, transfers everything was efficient. The guide was very knowledgable. I specially enjoyed the secoond island we visited as it had lot of cultural value and the views were very nice.

This was a perfect day trip from Puno, the pickup was very well cordinated and the guide was very knowledgable and passionate to share information about the local traditions and customs. Lunch was served in Taquile island in a local family restaurant overlooking the valley. Highly reccomend.

Did this full day Lake Titicaca tour and it was perfectly organized, it included visits to two different islands and our guide, fausto was very passionate in sharing his knowledge about the places and culture. The tour included lunch in Taquile island and it was very nice and authentic. the locals on the islands were welcoming and friendly.

Despite the disrupted weather in the morning, everything was great. We had a private tour of the two islands. The sun appeared in a magnificent setting... Two completely different islands... but authentic... Stunning landscapes!

A very friendly guide and professional staff. Everything was perfect from start to end with no unpleasant surprises. The tour included visits to two different islands and locals were welcoming and explained about their traditions and customs. The floating islands was a little touristic but quite different in a pleasant way.
