Vi gillar inte att skynda på någon för att du kom på semester för att trivas och inte tänka på tiden.

Utflykten startar från ditt hotell, flygplats eller mötesplats. Efter en 1 timmes resa kommer du till den lilla medeltida staden Ston där du kommer att ha en trevlig promenad på Stons stadsmur. Efter denna promenad på cirka 30 minuter fortsätter vi mot saltverket. Du kommer att lära dig om den tekniska processen för att få havssalt och dess utmärkta kvalitet. När turen är klar kör vi till Klis slott innan Split cirka 1h 30m.
Den imponerande Klis-fästningen (Tvrdava Klis) byggdes in i kalkstensbluffarna utanför Split och var en gång ett viktigt försvarsfäste mellan Medelhavet och Balkan. Den inhyste säte för många kroatiska kungar, men nuförtiden är den mer känd som filmplatsen för den fiktiva staden Meereen i serien Game of Thrones. Denna attraktion kan du se på 1h 30min. Efter att vi behöver köra 30 minuter till Splits centrum.
Efter Klis 30-45min börjar du turen vid Split Riva, strandpromenaden i Split. Genom bronsstadsporten går du in i källaren i palatset. De välvda källarna är intakta och mycket välbevarade efter mer än 1700 år. Sedan går du vidare till den sakrala delen av palatset, Perystilen och katedralen, som en gång var Diocletianus mausoleum. Jupiters hedniska tempel blev ett dopkapell på 700-talet. Du kommer att gå längs Cardo, den tidigare huvudgatan i palatset, och beundra Golden Gate. Sedan kan du äta lunch, fika eller dricka cirka 2h45m. Efter det träffas vi vid släppzonen och återvänder till hotellet ca 2h och 30min. Dessutom, om du behöver lite extra är vi flexibla för att göra din resa perfekt.

Mateo is so gracious and friendly. His car is very comfortable and he is a very safe and efficient driver. We made excellent time on the round trip and he was very flexible in timing so we could utilize our time how we wanted to. He’s given us terrific local tips for restaurants and local sights. If you’re doing a day trip to Split (or other activity) I highly recommend Mateo. He’s great with kids, and totally easy going.

Mateo was an excellent tour guide! He put together 2 personalized tours for our group. The first was to Perast and Kotor Montenegro from Dubrovnik. The second was from Dubrovnik to Split, going through Mostar and hitting many other great sights along the way. A highlight was the lunches he arranged for us both days! In Mostar we sat over looking the bridge at Terace Legaro. The food was amazing and the view is incredible. He had the best table in the place reserved for us ahead of time. His tours are well thought out and well planned. He even sends pictures at the end of the day. He is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Mateo was simply the best, he not only ensured we get to see so many amazing places, but kept the journey very comfortable, taking us through some of the most scenic paths, and at same time, explaining about the salient aspects of the place. He is well informed and an amazing sense of the entire region (not a single time, saw him using Google maps). We used his service while transiting from Dubrovnik to Split and on the way took us through the Botanical garden, Ston, Blagaj, Mostar, Kravice waterfalls. Would strongly recommend Mateo to anyone looking for a private taxi operator to travel across Croatia!!
