Turen börjar vid Al Khors hamn, som en gång var landets centrum för pärldykning och fiske. Ett gammalt fartygsreparations- och renoveringsvarv. Därefter besöker ni Al-Thakira mangrove. Vilket är en av Qatars gömda pärlor. Al-Thakhira Mangrove Forest är en av Qatars äldsta och största skogar. Sedan besöker du Al Zubara Fort. Detta fort från 1900-talet är den nyaste och mest synliga strukturen i Al Zubarahs arkeologiska område, som finns med på UNESCO:s världsarvslista. Ett orört exemplar av ett traditionellt arabiskt fort med en meter tjocka murar.

Adnan was a great guide for this tour to the lesser known parts of Qatar.. enjoyed learning more about the history of the country and it was a very comfortable drive. Highly recommend!

Adnan was kind to me despite being alone. They took my picture and it was very helpful. Basically, you can go where you are in the photo! Especially for the weathered rocks, it's worth a look! I'd like to use it again.
A good tour to see the mangroves, the castle, and the abandoned village located by the sea; it requires a bit of imagination to understand what it was like. The rock formations are beautiful. Adnan was a very good driver.

Good tour for a quick glimpse into Qatar landscape and sites beyond the grounds of Doha. Saw the Purple Island, Al Zubara fort, Richard Serra art installation, Zakreet rock formations and ruins as well as the racing camels along the way. The tour started and ended within the scheduled times, and the journey was smooth. Muhammed Syed was a kind and friendly guide and made sure the tour was well-paced. It was a decent trip.
