Heldagstur till Mombasa City med Haller Park

Turen börjar från något boende i Mombasa-området och besöker: Fort Jesus historiska museum, Gamla stan, promenad på marknaden och lunch i en lokal maträtt restaurang i Mombasa, Mombasa Giant elefant Tusk monument och eftermiddag besök i haller park.

Du blir hämtad från ditt hotell och förd till Fort Jesus. Detta är Mombasas äldsta museum och det skildrar lokalbefolkningens kultur och ursprung, och nämner ursprunget till Swahili. Med en guide kommer du att kunna spåra det historiska mönster som leder till inflytande av sultanerna. Dessutom lär du dig lokalbefolkningens kultur genom olika utställningar.
Du kommer att njuta av en promenad på smala gator i Mombasa gamla stan, passerar genom den berömda fiskmarknaden innan du kör för att se elefantbetarna som ett monument av den gamla (numera olagliga) elfenbenshandeln. Därefter promenerar ni på marknaden med lunch på lokala rätter för att prova de lokala köken
Efter lunch kommer ni att föras till Haller Park. Detta är inte en djurpark utan en frilevande djurreservat som föddes ur idén att bevara ett stort gammalt vidsträckt före detta cementbrott. Det finns massor av djur att se och beroende på din spänning kommer detta att pågå mellan 2 och tre timmar från där du kommer att släppas tillbaka till ditt hotell.

We had an excellent tour of Mombasa and Haller Park with Anthony. Got our pictures taken with the tusks and marveled at the bats hanging out in the park. We liked the area around Fort Jesus but be aware that unfortunately the old town was dirty and in disrepair. We especially enjoyed Haller Park. We fed giraffes and watched Owen the hippo be fed. Anthony was great in accommodating our requests. The day was hot so we canceled several of the activities.
