Today we have a lot of fun visiting the pyramids and going to Saqqara and Memphis. My girlfriend, our two friends and I were visiting Egypt after our World Cup holiday in Russia and we found this trip by chance. Totally worth it, our guide Ashraf was the best. He made the tour so fun. He has an amazing personality that made us laugh all day while he filled us with fun facts about Egypt. Very knowledgeable, but with a great sense of humor. If you go to the papyrus shop, be sure to haggle over the price (we get 50% off). I would definitely recommend doing this tour and, if you like to joke and have a fun day, you should ask Ashraf, it was the best!

— El equipo de Tree of Life Tours

Our tour with Zenab and Mido was fantastic. They picked us up from our hotel in an A/C car and explained our itinerary. At the Great Pyramids of Giza, Zenab took great photos, and we enjoyed a camel ride to the viewing area. We visited the Papyrus paper gallery, the Sakkara Step Pyramid, and the treasures of Ramses II in Memphis. Lunch was delicious, and we had a view of the Pyramids. We also saw how essential oils and perfumes are made. Zenab and Mido provided excellent historical insights and made us feel comfortable throughout. I highly recommend asking them for the best tour of Egypt!

Operatörens svar

Dear travelers, The element of your review worth elevating first is one that often goes uncommented on: "Zenab and Mido" as a coordinated pair. Most tour reviews list the guide and the driver as separate items — the guide as the day's centerpiece, the driver as the logistics layer beneath. What makes a day actually flow is when those two are operating as a single unit. Mido positions the vehicle so Zenab can drop into a tomb without an awkward walk back. When the camel concession sequence runs slow, Mido has already rerouted the next stop. When Zenab needs an extra ten minutes at the Step Pyramid because the traveler in front of her has a real question, Mido adjusts the lunch timing without anyone having to ask. That coordination is invisible from the back seat — it just looks like the day going well — but it's the operational backbone that makes a guide's flexibility actually possible. The phrase "comfortable throughout" you used isn't just about the AC. It's the felt result of the pair functioning as a team. Three specific notes deserve a response. First, Zenab taking great photos again — this comes up across enough reviews that it's now a known piece of her working profile. A traveler going home with pictures they actually want to look at is a real deliverable, even though it never shows up on any listing inclusion. Second, the papyrus gallery and the essential oils demonstration. These stops, when calibrated to the craft rather than the cash register — a brief artisan demonstration rather than an extended sales push — add genuine cultural texture to the day. Papyrus-making is one of the oldest documented manufacturing processes in human history; perfume oils were part of the funerary industry and the temple economy. The artisan demonstrating the craft is doing something authentic; the operator's job is to keep the stop calibrated so it doesn't tip into a buying funnel. Third, the lunch with a pyramid view — that's an easy choice to make sound generic, but in practice it's about restaurant selection, timing, and table positioning. We don't book the lunch on the day; we book the right table at the right restaurant for the right hour, so the view does what the view is supposed to do. Zenab and Mido will both receive your words directly. If Egypt ever calls you back, the natural next step from a Giza-Saqqara-Memphis day is the Upper Egypt arc — Luxor, Aswan, Abydos — where the same guide-and-driver pairing extends across more days and the days have room to breathe between major sites. Thank you for the review. — The Tree of Life Tours team

Egypt Visit 2019

We had Radwan for 2 days. He is very well educated and speaks very clear English. On our 10 day tour of the Middle East we had many guides. Radwan was by far the best.

Good experience getting to know Giza, Sakkara and Memphis

A good tour in the company of the Rasha guide.people in Egypt are generally very friendly and diligent with the tourist. We visited the pyramids, with a short tour around 🐫, with good photos for the memory of this emblematic place. Then, we had a great olfactory experience with Egyptian perfumes, ranging from 25 us to 50 us according to the content in ml. Papyrus as souvenirs of our visit to Pharaoh's country. And to finish the tour, visit Sakkara and Memphis. It should be noted that the offer of souvenirs is wide everywhere and some sellers will try to insist on the purchase, however, it is the free choice of the tourist to buy or not. The lunch offered was good tasting and in a nice place.

My friend and I had an absolutely amazing day today on this tour. We can’t say enough good things about our tour guide Manar, and her knowledge, patience, flexibility and passion for her country. She made us feel so well cared for. We enjoyed the day immensely, especially the camel rides and panoramas. We dined for lunch at El Dar Darak, where the meal was a true authentic feast!

Tree of Life with Yasser

Yasser arrived very punctual at 8:00 a.m., the tour started with the pyramids of Giza one of the 7 wonders of the world, Yasser was very friendly as all the time he sought us the best angles for some very nice photos, later we went on a camel ride, at the end of the camel, he took us to the gallery of the papyrus where they explained us how to make the paper with the papyrus plant; following the tour we visited Saqqara which is the step pyramid, the next stop was Dahshur where we could appreciate the Red and Earring pyramid. I hope tomorrow to have an amazing day like today , it is a 100% recommended tour and always be accompanied by a guide like Yasser is very good.

Tree of Life with Yasser Tour

The pick up from our hotel was smooth and easy with Yasser meeting us in the lobby and taking us to a waiting A/C filled car right outside. He explained our itinerary and about him and his friend Mido (our driver) as we made our way to the Great Pyramids of Giza. Upon arrival we got tickets and before going into the pyramid, Yasser took some awesome pictures of us. After that we rode Camels to the viewing area of the Pyramids which was very fun and highly recommended! Then we drove to the Papyrus paper gallery where we were shown how the ancient Egyptians made the first paper. Next up was the Sakkara Step Pyramid near the ancient capital city Memphis. We were able to get entrance into the inside of Unas and see the ancient hieroglyphics which was amazing. After that we went to Memphis and saw the treasures and statues of Ramses II. Then lunch at an awesome restaurant, btw this was my first time eating pigeon and lemme tell ya, it wasn’t half bad haha. The restaurant was over looking the Pyramids and had a full range of awesome dishes. Finally we stopped at the manufacturing place of Essential Oils and perfumes and learned how they blew glass bottles and made the oils, I also got my mom some incredible perfume. Overall the tour was simply amazing and so so so worth it. Yasser and Mido did an awesome job explaining the history and interesting stories about the places we went. They seemed to be friends with everyone and we felt very comfortable the entire time. If you go I recommend asking for them, this is by far the best way to see Egypt and it’s sites!

Incredible Tour with Tree of Life

Yasser and Medo picked us up right on time early in the morning and we were off to the Giza Pyramids! Yasser was absolutely so social and made it extremely easy to get us into the Great Pyramid, Khufu. Afterwards, we had a life changing camel ride behind all three pyramids. We arrived to the papyrus gallery where I purchased the most beautiful painting ever, The Final Judgement. Medo then drove us to Zoser pyramid, the oldest pyramid in history. Luckily we were able to see the inside of Unas, oldest pyramid featuring beautiful hieroglyphics. After this excursion, we were taken to the oldest Egyptian city, Memphis, home of King Ramses II Ptah. We ate lunch at Abou Shakra, overlooking the Giza Pyramids and offering the greatest Pigeon in the city! To finish it off, we purchased some incredible essences from the gallery. Overall, Yasser and Tree of Life granted my best friend and I a day that we will never forget.
