Lämna Luxor tidigt på morgonen till norr för att besöka ta fantastiska tempel. Abydos tempel som byggdes av Seti 1 och färdigställdes av RamesesII, kör sedan tillbaka (söder) för att besöka det mest bevarade templet i Egypten Denderawhich tillägnad gudinnan Hathor.

Möt din tur egyptolog som kommer att eskortera dig till Dandara som ligger 85 km norr om Luxor.
Fortsätt sedan till staden Abydos, 135 km från Luxor. Där kommer du att besöka templet i Abydos där den forntida egypten trodde på gud (Lord of the underworld) för att begravas där. Templet byggdes av kung Seti I och slutfördes av kung Ramsess II, känt som templet för Seti I. Målningarna av gudarna och faraoerna på väggarna i Osiris tempel i Abydos är bland de vackraste bevarade i Egypten. När du kommer till dessa platser passerar du lokala byar och majestätiska landskap för floden Nilen och åkrarna.
Efter att ha avslutat din tur kör du tillbaka till Luxor.
I Dandara ska du besöka det vackra templet för skönhetsgudinnan Hathor. Templet har ett massivt stentak, underjordiska passager och en magnifik sällsynt relief av drottning Cleopatra IV och hennes son kejsarsnitt. Hathors tempel, det var känt som "Sistrums slott" eller "Pr. Hathor' - Hathors hus.

I probably said something very similar in my last review of this tour, Abydos is a truly magnificent place to experience. Dendera is also a sight to see but Abydos is the star of the show. It will speak volumes of this sight that we returned a few months after we were there just in June. We met our excellent guide again, and personal friend, Hossam Rashwan. The place itself had of course not changed nor actually the company except for a family member we brought with us this time around. To be honest though I could repeat that experience with that company again and again and I'd not tire of it. So without spending too much time on it I'll just say, please visit Abydos if you can and when you do seriously consider having Hossam Rashwan guide you around.

We stayed in Luxor for 4 nights and during our time there we had our guide, Hossam Rashwan, and our driver, Ahmed Sayed, taking us to see the sights and spending time with us every day. The tour to Abydos and Dendera was truly amazing. Both temples are well worth a visit but Abydos stands out, it's a moving place to see and experience. Hossam is a great guide, knowledgeable and has a deep understanding of the sites and their histories as well as being an excellent story teller. I would truly recommend to travel with our duo Hossam and Ahmed. It's not just that that they took us to see the monuments and sights we wanted to see it's also that they were genuinely good people to be around. We went to local coffee shops together just to have a drink and talk about life. It was wonderful to visit those sights and wonderful to meet Hossam and Ahmed. I hope you will also have the same chance!

Abydos and Dendera temples are not easy to reach but they worth an effort! The daytrip means about 6 hours in a car so we were happy to have a good Japanese car and careful driver with us. We started 2 hours later than these tours normally do but were in time to see everything thanks to Love Egypt and Mr. Hass, who actually joined us to ensure smooth trip. The price was great too.
