09:00 Upphämtning från hotell / flygplats / järnvägsstation i Jodhpur och njut av Jodhpur sightseeingtur.
Först besöker vi Mehrangarh-fortet, som ligger på en 150 m hög kulle och grundades av Rao Jodha 1459. Innanför dess gränser finns flera palats kända för sina underbara sniderier och vidsträckta innergårdar. Sju portar måste passeras för att nå fortet. Portarna bär fortfarande märken av de olika striderna som utkämpades i svunnen tid.
11.00 Nära fortkomplexet ligger Jaswant Thada, denna kungliga cenotaf från 1800-talet byggd i vit marmor till minne av Maharaja Jaswant Singh II och tre andra cenotafer i närheten.
Valfritt (betala direkt) Vi besöker Umaid Bhawan Palace, hem för den dåvarande kungafamiljen Jodhpur och för närvarande världens sjätte största privata bostad i Jodhpur. En del av palatset rymmer ett välskött museum som visar ett fantastiskt utbud av föremål som tillhör Maharaja och kungafamiljen - vapen, antikviteter och fascinerande klockor, porslin och troféer. Fastigheten hyser ett familjemuseum, samt det lysande Umaid Bhawan-palatset och ligger mitt i 26 tunnland lummiga trädgårdar, med dansande påfåglar och en underjordisk Zodiac Pool.
På eftermiddagen besöker vi klocktornet & Sadar-marknaden, i den gamla stadens klocktorn finns ett framträdande landmärke. Men huvudattraktionen är Sadar-marknaden. Marknaden har hållit den gamla haatbasarkulturen vid liv.
Kvällsshopping i Jodhpur är ett utmärkt ställe att shoppa och du hittar ett lockande utbud av varor tillgängliga där. Några av de mest populära föremålen är ädelstenar, silversmycken, armringar, kläder och textilier etc.

We enjoyed this tour of Jodhpur. Sandeep our tour guide arrived exactly on time at our hotel for pickup. The car was very comfortable. Sandeep explained all the details of the sights very well along with all the historical facts. He also got the tickets of each monument thus saving us time standing in lines. His knowledge was quite impressive. Lunch was included in the tour and was great! All in all a very nice experience and I would highly recommend this tour.

Sandeep was a great guide in the fascinating city of Jodhpur. Enjoyed seeing places and markets and learning about the history of the city over the centuries. Lunch was at a nice authentic restaurant.

It has been a nice holiday trip with family to the heritage town Jodhpur. We visited many historical places. Mr Sandeep was a wonderful guide. He was able to add value to these visits by letting us know about the interesting history associated in detail.

Favorite part of the visit was Mehrangarh fort. Enjoyed various artifacts in the fort. Mr Sandeep, guide, was very knowledgeable and took extremely good care of us. Very good hospitality. Infact, all people of jodhpur are like this. Will love to visit again

We had book a 1 day private tour with Mike Lobo taking us up to the fort Jodphur Fort, then on to Jaswand Tada ( the precious little Taj Mahal of Jodphur ), had lunch in the new town and went on to walk around the local market area. Mike is an extraordinary person who exceeded all of our expectations. We had many questions bout culture, country and the local area and he was elaborate and entertaining in answering all of our curiosity. His English is excellent, he has a dark, pleasant, narrating voice with a slightly British accent and a wealth of historic facts which he readily shared with us along the way. The tuck-tucks and car we used along the way were perfectly orchestrated (even though there were traffic problems which kept the originally booked car to arrive on time). We wanted to shop for some high quality spices and scents and he pointed us to Maharani Spices new the clock tower where Naveen Bandhari was not only an entertaining owner and an expert of his craft in teas, herbs and oils. We continued to stroll the pulsating market and purchased small items here and there where again Mike helped us to negotiate with the locals and even helped with cash when we only had large bills. In total, Mike is the insightful, forthcoming and an idea companion for your travels - I can highly recommend his services to you.
