Din heldagstur börjar med en hämtning kl. 08.00 från ditt hotell eller Agra Cantt Railway Station (AGC). Möt din guide, gå ombord på din privata AC Toyota-bil.
Först besöker vi den magnifika Taj Mahal (Stängt på fredagar), en UNESCO: s världsarvslista som är ett av världens sju underverk och säkerligen det mest extravaganta uttrycket för kärlek som någonsin skapats. 20 000 män arbetade i över 17 år för att bygga detta minnesmärke över Shah Jahans älskade fru. Det är en rikedom av vit marmor och halvädelsten – "utan tvekan höjdpunkten på turnén".
Därefter besöker du det imponerande Agra-fortet, en UNESCO: s världsarvslista. Byggt av kejsar Akbar 1565 e.Kr., detta enorma fort är gjort av röd sandsten. De eleganta byggnaderna inuti återspeglar en intressant syntes av hinduiska och centralasiatiska arkitektoniska stilar. Labyrinten av borggårdarna, moskéerna och de privata kamrarna i fortet ekar historien om Mughalriket.
Klockan 14:30 efter lunch börjar vi den 1 timmes bilresan till Fatehpur Sikri, också en UNESCO: s världsarvslista. Beskrevs som "världens mest perfekt bevarade spökstad, byggdes den av Akbar i slutet av 1500-talet och övergavs efter bara 14 år. De eleganta byggnaderna i denna fantastiska muromgärdade stad förblir intakta till denna dag.
Tidigt på kvällen kan du ta dig tid att shoppa i Agra, som är känt för sina fantastiska hantverk gjorda av marmor och mjuka steninläggningar. Mughalerna var stora beskyddare av konst och hantverk. Kejsarinnan Nur Jahan tog ett personligt intresse och var själv en skicklig konstnär inom zari-broderi. Agras stora hantverksprodukter är förutom inläggningsarbeten lädervaror, mässingsvaror, mattor, smycken och broderiarbeten.
Efter sightseeingen åker vi till Agra Cantt Railway Station (AGC) eller tillbaka till ditt hotell i Agra runt 18.00.

Had an excellent experience on my recent full-day tour of Agra with tour guide Mr. Rajni Kant and driver Mr. Sonu. The day began well with on-time hotel pickup for the Taj Mahal sunrise tour. The itinerary for the day was well-planned with flexibility to spend more time at each site such as the Agra Fort and "Baby Taj." Rajni provided a complete history of each location and the best views for photos throughout the day. The lunch provided was a delicious buffet with abundant Indian favorites and courteous service. If local shopping or services are of interest, Rajni will guide you in the right direction. If safe travels are a concern, Mr. Sonu's driving and navigational skills will smoothly transition you throughout the city even in heavy traffic. You will be well-served by this team.

Jaya took us with a private driver to see the Taj and other sites we wanted to see. She was excellent and so full of knowledgeable! She was very flexible and allowed us to arrange the itinerary how we wanted. Definitely recommend her and this tour company 😊

Don’t hesitate! This is an amazing and super organized tour. Our driver Ravi picked us up at airport and took us to Agra where we met our amazing guide Rajesh took us to see the Taj Mahal. He’s very knowledgeable and a great photographer as well. We had tradicional Indian lunch followed by some shopping. It’s a very long day but worth every second! We also used Nikita Holidays for our transportation in Mumbai and city Tour. Raj Sharma, the CEO made everything go smoothly. Super recommended!

I am so happy I booked my once in a lifetime tour of the Taj Mahal and environs with this company. Our guide Mahesh was super! He went out of his way to find me a gold 3D charm of the Taj Mahal. He did this by making several phone calls and going to 3 shops. He was also very attentive to all of our needs concerning the heat (113°). Our driver Prem was great as well. We enjoyed our two days with them immensely. My husband and I joked that they treated us better than our own family! Raj the manager kept texting me throughout our two days to make sure the service was superior. Thank you for making our once in a lifetime experience extra memorable.
