En unik, heldags guidad Aten-tur och introduktion till de viktigaste stadens sevärdheter, inklusive Akropolis, Herodeion, Akropolismuseet, Plaka och mer. Det är en rundtur där besökaren får en första "smak" av staden, från liten skala bredvid viktiga monument, till stor skala genom att se panoramautsikt över Aten från de två mest kända kullarna, Akropolis och Lykabettus. Dessutom, när vi väl nämnde "smak", kommer du att smaka på äkta grekisk mat på en av de många mycket bra restaurangerna som finns i stadens centrum. Akropolis i Aten är den mest besökta arkeologiska platsen i Grekland. Underbara konstruktioner finns runt och på Atens heliga kulle. Parthenon, Erecteion, ett romerskt auditorium, antik grekisk teater och mycket mer. Men dessa monument är "tomma" utan vägledning av en expert som kommer att veckla ut alla berättelser som "klär" dessa marmorerade mirakel.
Om du inte besöker Akropolismuseet efter besöket på Akropolis är det som att du har sett 50%. Dessa 2 platser är sammankopplade och du kommer att få en fullständig bild av Akropolis. Du kommer att se keramik, skulpturer, statyer från olika tidsperioder och naturligtvis de återstående utsökta dekorativa skulpturerna av det berömda Parthenon.

Det grekiska parlamentet som var palats för den första kungen av det moderna Grekland. Det är här det berömda bytet av presidentgardet äger rum.
Atens gamla stad full av pittoreska gränder och många monument från olika tidsperioder, såsom den antika romerska marknaden, vindarnas torn, en ottomansk moské, bysantinska kyrkor. Det var Aten fram till 1830 - en liten stad med 20 000 invånare.
Det första universitetet i moderna Grekland byggt i mitten av 1800-talet med grekisk väckelsestil, Atens nationella universitet! Den består av tre byggnader, Akademien, förvaltningsbyggnaden och Nationalbiblioteket. Förmodligen de vackraste byggnaderna i moderna Aten.

Alex, our guide, and Victor, our driver, were each fantastic. Alex was incredibly knowledgeable, and Victor was very skilled. We toured the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, among other sites, and had a great lunch. It was an overall A+ experience. We recommend it highly.

Just had the best day exploring Athens with Alexios! We saw everything - the Acropolis Museum (skip-the-line FTW!), wandered the cute Plaka neighborhood, devoured amazing Greek food, and learned tons about the city. If you have the opportunity to see Athens - see it with Alexios P & his driver Lazaros! Alexios will make the Acropolis site come alive for you- you can almost see the ancient Greeks & hear the gods. The Acropolis museum had meaning because of him - otherwise you could easily become completely overwhelmed. Alexios’s command of history, archeology, mythology & of course, the English language, makes him an indispensable partner as you walk the remarkable ancient lands. His site: Greece at Last, is very informative & easy to navigate. Lazaros drove us not only comfortably & safely, but with very useful information & a sense of humor (and cold water!) & enabled us to see other landmarks throughout the city. Lazaros also made useful suggestions about the next leg of our trip - how to drive to other cities, budget our time & where to eat when we got there !! I recommend Greece at Last, Alexios P & Lazaros without reservation. You will not be disappointed!
