Vår båt är träbåt. Vi kör båtturer i Kekova, men vår är lite annorlunda. Vår båt har faktiskt en kapacitet på 45 personer, men vi tar maximalt 35. För när det blir trångt försvinner den avslappnade, trevliga atmosfären – och det är precis vad vi vill undvika. De flesta båtarna i området går ut med 80–100 personer. Vi föredrar att hålla saker lugnare och bekvämare. Ingen musik på båten. Föreställ dig en dag där alla har tillräckligt med utrymme, och du kan njuta av utsikten utan brådska... det är precis den upplevelse vi strävar efter att erbjuda. Kort sagt, om du letar efter en mer lugn och trevlig tur istället för en fullsatt, har du kommit rätt. Vår lunch är utsökt, fräsch och lokal meze gjord av kapten fru. Vi kör till byn Üçağız med service på 45 minuter och hämtar vår båt vid Üçağız hamn.
Vi stannar för badpaus vid denna vik i 45 minuter. Man ser tydligt under vattnet.
Andra badplatsen är Tersane bay. SunkenCity och sjunkna ruiner startar från denna vik. Så vi kommer att stanna i 45 minuter och badpaus över de sjunkna ruinerna. Vår turistguide kommer att berätta historien om denna bukt.
Efter Tersane bay seglar vi till sunkencity. Vår båt kommer att segla långsamt och turistguiden kommer att ge information om staden och dess historia. Det tar ungefär 40 minuter. Vi kunde inte simma där.
På denna ö ser vi grottan. Piratgrottan heter den. vi stannar framför grottan bara 5 minuter och ser insidan av grottan och tar bilder.
Bakom ön Aşırlı finns en magnifik vik som heter Gökkaya Bay. Vi stannar här för lunchpaus och bad. Lunch är öppen buffé och 5 olika lokala kalla mezes gjorda olivolja och kapten fru. Vi erbjuder även kycklinggrill. Före och efter lunch hinner man bada.
Mittemot ön Kekova finns en vik som heter Burç-bukten. Du kan bada där med kallt källvatten kommer under havet. Vi erbjuder turkiskt te vid denna bukt.
Vi stannar vid Simena (Castle Village) för att besöka slottet och den vackra byn. Vi hinner bada och besöka byn. Det finns ingen väg för bilar till byn. Unikt sätt att nå sjövägen.
Andra bukten är Island bay i Kekova-regionen. Vi stannar för att bada och bjuder på frukt (vanligtvis vattenmelon)
Vi vänder tillbaka till byn Üçağız med båt och får servicen. Kör tillbaka till Kaş

We were somewhat disappointed by this excursion overall. We were particularly looking forward to seeing the sunken city of Kekova, but unfortunately, you don't really get to see much of it. The boat passes by very quickly, and visibility from the boat is quite limited. We also felt that the itinerary could be better planned. There were perhaps too many stops, with too much time spent at some locations and not enough at others. In addition, many boats tend to stop at the same places at the same time, which makes the experience feel quite crowded. The water was not as clear in some areas, and with so many boats around, it unfortunately gave the impression that the water was somewhat polluted. The boat itself was also quite crowded, which took away from the relaxing aspect of the excursion. That being said, the captain, staff and the guide were all very attentive and kind throughout the day, which made a real difference. They were genuinely welcoming and did their best to make sure everyone was comfortable. For that reason alone, we still consider it a nice excursion overall, despite the aspects that could be improved.

Regarding the Sunken City, the visible remains are quite limited, with most of them located in the shallow coastal area of Kekova Island. Boats cannot pass very close to the ruins due to the risk of damaging the remains, so the view from the boat can naturally be limited. Our tour is also designed as a boat and swimming tour, which is why the itinerary includes several swimming stops. Since you joined us in August, one of the busiest periods in the region, some popular bays can be crowded. Despite this, we operate at around 70% capacity and always try to choose the quieter bays whenever possible. The tour is exactly what it mentions on the page. The boat was comfortable and had plenty of seating to enjoy the views. Sometimes, it was hard to understand the tour guide's English, but that didn't prevent learning about the sunken city. Drinks are not included, so ensure you bring cash to buy beers or others.

Absolutely brilliant trip and we would highly recommend it on all fronts. We were picked up from and dropped off at our hotel which was fantastic and then had the loveliest day on the boat with lots of opportunities for snorkelling and a delicious lunch. Our hosts were charming and knowledgeable. We saw other boats which were jam packed with people and were so grateful that ours was limited to 35 which meant we had ample space to relax and enjoy the day. Fabulous!

A nice experience visiting beautiful corners of the coast near Kas on a boat. Ruins of Lycian and Roman cities and stops to swim in beautiful areas of the coast and nearby small islands. The guide Turgham was charming and surprised us since he knew some Spanish. The tour is highly recommended and at a very good price.
