Turen börjar i Shibuya, varifrån du kommer att besöka den berömda Shibuya Crossing, en av Tokyos mest ikoniska landmärken. Turen fortsätter sedan till Meiji Shrine, en fridfull helgedom omgiven av skog och tillägnad kejsare Meiji. Därefter tar ni tåget till det kejserliga palatset, den Japanska kejsarfamiljens huvudresidens, där det finns tid att beundra omgivningarna och fotografera. Efter det kommer du att utforska Akihabara, känt som centrum för anime och manga kultur. Nästa stopp är Asakusa, hem till det historiska Senso-ji-templet och en livlig shopping gata fylld med traditionella snacks och souvenirer. Gäster som väljer lunchalternativet kommer att njuta av en lokal måltid, medan andra kommer att ha fri tid att utforska och äta på sin fritid. Turen avslutas i Asakusa för dem som väljer Basalternativet. Om du väljer Skytree biljettalternativ (med eller utan lunch), fortsätter turen till Tokyo Skytree, där du kan gå upp och njuta av panoramautsikt över staden.

Vi börjar turen med att träffa guiden vid Hachiko-statyn. Sedan upptäcker vi Shibuya-övergången innan vi åker till Meiji Shrine – ungefär 40 minuters resa. Njut av en introduktion till den pulserande energin i staden innan du anländer till den lugna omgivningen i vårt första stopp, Meiji Shrine.
Stig in i den fridfulla skogen som omger Meiji Shrine, en fridfull helgedom i Shinto som erbjuder en stunds eftertanke och en djupdykning i traditionell japansk andlighet.
Vi beger oss sedan till det kejserliga palatset. Här har vi en 30-minuters paus för att beundra och fotografera den majestätiska exteriören av kejsarens officiella residens. Även om vi inte kommer in i själva palatset, kommer du att kunna njuta av utsikten över dess imponerande portar, traditionell arkitektur och de omgivande vallgravarna och trädgårdarna. Därifrån fortsätter vi till Hamarikyu Gardens, en lugn oas vid Tokyobukten. Vi tillbringar cirka 40 minuter här och njuter av en lugn promenad bland traditionella japanska landskap, tehus och säsongens blommor – allt i en bakgrund av stadens skyline.
Se de livliga gatorna i Akihabara, Tokyos knutpunkt för elektronik, anime och popkultur, känd för sina bländande ljus och pulserande energi.
Besök den historiska stadsdelen Asakusa och utforska Senso-ji, Tokyos äldsta tempel. Njut av ledig tid för sightseeing, shopping eller en traditionell lunch (om du väljer). Om du har valt alternativet Basic avslutas turen i Asakusa. Om du däremot har valt alternativet med biljetter eller med biljetter och lunch fortsätter turen till Skytree Tower.
Turen avslutas vid det ikoniska Tokyo Skytree, en av de högsta byggnaderna i världen. Gäster som väljer det biljettinkluderade alternativet kommer att ha möjlighet att stiga upp till observationsdäcket och njuta av panoramautsikt över staden med sin Guide.

This is a great intro to Tokyo, with multiple stops to places of interest throughout! Our tour guide, George, did an amazing job of translating everything in multiple languages - even though I was the only person completely reliant on English! The tour was fun, informative, and covered a lot of bases. A perfect choice for my first day in Tokyo!

There’s lots of walking involved but great for seeing a lot. George was great and very informative about Japanese culture and history of the shrine and the palace. Also showing us where to get good souvenirs. It was great to have time to explore Akihabara and know where to come back to.

You see a lot in a relatively short amount of time, which was fantastic. And our tour guide was quite knowledgeable and gave us a lot of useful history that made what we saw come alive. However, be prepared to walk a lot if they switch the mode of transportation from a bus to the local rail system as they did with our tour group at the last minute.
Lily was an excellent tour guide! This tour involved quite a bit of walking, but she was very mindful of the group’s needs and made a point to stop whenever anyone needed a break. She kept a comfortable pace, made sure no one was left behind, and was always happy to answer questions. Her knowledge of Tokyo’s history, culture, and landmarks made each stop more meaningful, and her friendly personality made the day enjoyable from start to finish. We visited some incredible sites and learned so much along the way. If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend requesting Lily as your guide. She helped make our day in Tokyo a wonderful experience!
