I did the full day Cairo tour including the Giza Pyramids and Eyptian Museum with Ahmed Eraky. He is a very knowledgable guide. He is well educated and a certified Egyptologist. If you are a history nerd and wish to learn more about Cairo I would encourage you to engage with Ahmed as you will learn a lot about history from your discussions with him. As a side note he did his University thesis on ancient Egyptian coffin design. He also worked in the Egyptian Museum during his grad years. He can talk your ears off about these subjects. I would say its a good way to spend 7 hours in Cairo especially if you have never been there before. Ahmed has a pleasant attitude and is very knowledgable.
