Upptäck en av Hardangerfjordens mest avskilda delar på en liten grupp RIB-safari från Norheimsund. Denna guidade båttur tar dig in i Fyksesund, en smal och fridfull fjordgren dit stora turbåtar inte kan gå. Omgiven av branta berg, vattenfall och lugna vatten, kommer du att uppleva en mer intim sida av fjordlandskapet. Längs vägen delar din lokala kapten berättelser om områdets natur, historia och fjordliv. Du kryssar förbi dramatiska landskap, saktar ner för fotostopp och besöker den väglösa byn Botnen - en historisk bosättning som erbjuder en inblick i livet i denna avlägsna del av Hardanger. Fyksesund ändrar karaktär under hela året. På våren och efter regnet strömmar vattenfall nerför bergssidorna. På vintern fryser många till slående isformationer. Denna 75 minuter långa RIB-tur är idealisk för resenärer som vill kombinera naturskönhet, lokalt berättande och en spännande båttur utan folkmassorna under varje säsong.

Samlafjorden är en bredare del av Hardangerfjorden med fantastisk utsikt mot bergen och små byar längs fjorden.
Kvamsøy har en väderstation från Meteorological Institute som skickar väderdata fyra gånger om dagen till hela världen, en så kallad synoptisk station. Väderstationen ligger vid Austerhaugen. Det finns också en liten fyr som fortfarande är i drift på denna hög. Det finns flera gravhögar på både Kvamsøy och Tjuvholmen, och bussupptäckter har gjorts från både bronsåldern och järnåldern, mellan andra delar av en bronsöxa.
Den första hängbron som korsade Hardangerfjorden som öppnade 1937.
Fyksesunds fjordgren är 11 km lång och har den smalaste delen av hela Hardangerfjorden. Detta är en vacker fjordgren halvvägs genom Hardangerfjorden som har fina branta bergssidor och massor av små vattenfall.
I slutet av Fyksesund fjorden ligger den gamla byn Botnen. En historisk by och fantastisk natur.

Huge fun experience! Proft conducted by a nice guide. Lots of good speed and some guidance along the way. Pass large boat with 12 passengers.

Definitely worth it. We had an amazing experience and had a chance to go super fast through wakes on the fjord. Really fun. Our guide was very nice and shared info about the fjord. It was really scenic and beautiful to see fyksesund this way - an otherwise inaccessible area of hardangerfjord.

Excellent experience- they provide all you need eg flotation suit, gloves, beanie, goggles. The driver Theo was great and we saw waterfalls and most amazing scenery

Fantastic trip with friendly guide, who gave information about the area and also drove the boat just right, fast enough to give us a thrill but feeling totally safe. We came off the boat grinning. Was a bit worried it wouldn’t be worth the bus ride from Bergen, but the bus ride was easy and comfortable and the tour perfectly timed to fit around the bus schedule. Was also worried it wouldn’t be too cold in February, but the kit supplied kept us super warm.

Fantastic ... but watch out for people with back problems ... a bit sporty! But fabulous!!

Travelled by bus from Bergen in a very snowy Norway. Our Rib safari was fantastic, fresh, cold but utterly stunning and our guide was great and very knowledgeable about the small towns we visited. One of the reasons we booked was to get up close with the waterfalls when we got to them they were completely frozen! Which was even more spectacular than could have imagined. We lucked out with the weather, flat calm in the small fjord branches, breathtaking! thanks so much for out trip and thanks to our guide!
