Efter att ha träffat din guide tar du vägen till Saint-Emilion i en 9-sitsig skåpbil. På vägen kommer du att lära dig mer om vinerna från Bordeaux och Saint-Emilion. Sedan kommer du att besöka ett familjeslott där du kommer att lära dig mer om hur viner tillverkas. Innan en provning av minst 3 viner från fastigheten. Du fortsätter med en historisk guidad rundtur i byn Saint-Emilion och en provsmakning av dess andra specialitet: macaroons. Klassad av Unesco sedan 1999, är det en medeltida by med hisnande vyer. En utflykt att inte missa och det bästa förhållandet mellan kvalitet och pris på marknaden!

Mötet hålls framför Cité du Vin. När du har träffat din guide tar du vägen till Saint-Emilion i en nyligen 9-sitsig skåpbil (45 minuter). På vägen kommer din guide att förklara särdragen hos Bordeaux-vingårdarna och Saint-Emilion i synnerhet.
Vi börjar utflykten på en familjevingård och odlar dess vinstockar ekologiskt. Du kommer att besöka karrummet samt fatkällaren och lära dig hur Saint-Emilion-viner tillverkas. Besöket avslutas med en provsmakning av viner från fastigheten (minst 3 viner, huvudsakligen röda).
Vi fortsätter med en guidad tur i byn Saint-Emilion. Din guide kommer att introducera dig till Saint-Emilion och ta dig genom dess gator, torg och huvudmonument. En sammanfattning av medeltida historia i en av de vackraste byarna i Frankrike! Du kommer också att ha möjlighet att smaka på de läckra makronerna i Saint-Emilion och ta många bilder från hisnande utsiktspunkter.
När besöket i byn är över tar vi vägen till Bordeaux (45 minuter) där din guide kommer att släppa av dig nära Cité du Vin.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about French wine and especially the wine around Bordeaux. The winery tour was interesting, but the samples were smaller than most other wine tastings. The walk around St, Emmilion was pleasant and a very interesting city. Pick up place was a hassle. It was supposed to be in the wine museum parking lot, but there is not really a parking lot. There is a fenced in area for handicapped people to park on the far side from where we were approaching. The guide finally reached us by phone.
Hello Fred, Thank you for your review; we're glad you enjoyed the tour. The amount of wine served during the tasting is in line with French standards. It may be more generous in your country. The meeting point is in front of the entrance to the Cité du Vin, not at the parking lot. You simply misread the instructions on your ticket. Very educational; about history, grapes, wine, governing bodies, soil, smell and taste. I’ve no doubt missed something. Our guide Milla, seemed to enjoy her job. She is very knowledgeable and very accommodating without allowing the day to waste. The guide at the Chateau could not have been more passionate about her employer, their history and their produce. The green/organic aspect was very interesting. I am definitely recommending this tour.

Emmanuel was a pleasant, friendly and very informative guide. Small group visit to quaint family run vineyard. Interesting tour of vineyard and opportunity to purchase wine produced at very reasonable price. Walking tour of the beautiful city of Saint Emillion, sampling delicious macaroons. A lot packed into a few very enjoyable hours!

Fantastic visit to a family-run organic vineyard near St. Emilion, followed by a charming and leisurely tour around the village itself. Our guide from Vert, Emmanuel, was friendly and highly knowledgeable of his subject. A great morning, just the right duration for an excursion!

Emmanuel was fantastic from the get-go. Super friendly and clearly highly knowledgeable when it comes to the wine and the region. He speaks perfect English. We got collected at the given location at the established time and had a very pleasant journey until the Vineyard in a very comfortable Van. Considering the customer service, expertise of the tour guides, the Vineyard itself, the Tour around Saint-Émilion the experience has a great Value for money. The whole trip was amazing, since the trip to the Vineyard, the Vineyard itself and the tour through the Village. Recommend 100%.
