Incredible experience! Our guide, Cat was amazing. Her friendly nature made us feel comfortable throughout the tour. She brought us to location with the best spots for photos.
Very crowded. I recommend going in the morning. Our guide Mu was great. I would highly recommend Mu as your guide
Ms. Sue is very accommodating and friendly. The trek was steep but the view was amazing. Good thing the weather was good. A once in a lifetime experience. Thank you, Miss Sue.
A very good experience down to the catcat village. The guide was very nice and the walk while raining wasn't too bad (it was in the winter).
Great morning. Mu was an excellent tour guide would recommend for a couple hours of your morning. Worth seeing.
The half day trip to Cat Cat was very well organised. Our guide told us detailed stories about the Black Hmong community and their lives. Walking through the terraced fields was peaceful, and I couldn’t resist buying a colourful scarf made by the local women.
I really enjoyed the tour to Cat Cat village. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the ethnic culture, explaining the customs and daily life of the Black Hmong people. The transportation was convenient, the rice fields looked amazing, and the local homestays were very friendly.
The guide led the small group with ease, sharing anecdotes about daily life and village cultural activities. The terrain included wooden platforms, steep stairs and bamboo bridges over streams. At the waterfall, we stopped to take photos and watch a very authentic and informative dance show. All return trips were in air-conditioned vehicles, making the journey easy.
Our guide Lily (or Sung on some tours) was warm, friendly and clever in avoiding upsells. She assisted the local costume team and explained the daily life of the Hmong people. The walk through the flower gardens, streams and cottages was really interesting. Highlights included waterfalls, bridges and cultural performances. A compact tour but rich in culture.
From pick up in Sapa to drop off, the guide was attentive and informative, managing a small group for more personalised advice. The downhill trek offered stunning views of the rice terraces and villages. History came alive at Cat Cat waterfall and the power plant. Despite some commercialisation, the views, bridges and dance performances made the trip worthwhile.
