Wonderful! We’ve had an amazing day with Mario, he was able to answer all our questions, always maintaining a good humour and great at storytelling. Also a great singing voice (the acoustic of Gruta do Natal helped!)
My wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon touring the island with Christina who, as a local to the island, was able to answer all of our questions and offered up additional information on the island and the Azores in general that we did not ask. Coming off of two recent cruises where we were part of large tour groups our private tour with Christina was done in a first class manner and one in which we would highly recommend to others!
Carolina was a excellent tour guide! Very knowledgeable and informative. She answered every question we threw at her. Also a genuinely kind and caring person. She is my top choice for Terceira tours.

This is not your typical tour; it's a genuine, personal experience. Mario went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs and made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trip. (WE WERE 12 PEOPLE) Plus, his Spotify playlist is top-notch—perfect for the scenic drives. But that's not all! Mario’s mother, who is just the sweetest, prepared delicious homemade meals for us that truly made us feel like part of the family. Tour was worth it! Very cool lava cave experience and stops along the island with good viewpoints. Mario was very friendly and informative

Mario was a fantastic guide! He was so knowledgeable about the history, the geology and the locations of the caves. We also got to visit a beautiful overlook and natural swimming area in the ocean. He speaks perfect English and has a genuine love for the places we visited. We never felt rushed. He answered all of our questions in great detail. It was a wonderful afternoon!
The volcano was truly amazing. The cave tunnels and amount of history our guide told us especially about Nasa using it to test living conditions. It was a great day even with the rain sprinkle on and off.
