Besök Grand Egyptian Museum, det nyaste museet byggt i Egypten. Grundstenen lades 2002, bygget slutfördes 2021. Museet byggdes över 500 000 m2. I entréhallen 7000 m2 ingår Ramses II:s klossalstaty, i de stora trapphusen 6000 m2 ingår 87 stora statyer. Tolv gallerier på 18000 m2 visar monument från fördynastisk tid till grekisk-romersk tid, monument för det fornegyptiska samhället, kungligheter och gudom. Besök King Tuts begravningssamling, den mest kompletta samlingen som någonsin hittats i en grav, mer än 5300 monument med den gyllene Masken 11 kg massivt guld och den gyllene kistan 111 kg massivt guld och många andra monument.

Our guide was Emad Salib, he was prompt, kind and very interesting. Emad was a walking Egyptian encyclopedia. When my husband needed some help, Emad was so very kind to him. If we had time we would have taken other tours with him.
This is our second time visit to Egypt and we heard new part of Grand Egyptian Museum opened. So we decided to visit there. We selected Mr Salib because he has good reviews. We made a good choice. He met us on time at our apartment and drove to the museum. Since he suggested earlier visit, we could see exhibitions quietly. Mr. Salib explains us very logical way so that we can understand long history of Egypt. He is not in rush and we spend more than 3 hours in museum without any hurry.
We are just back from a private visit to Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) which last month opened new sections. It is an amazing museum worth visiting even if it is not yet officially inaugurated. We were guided by Mr. Salib . He is very professional and has excellent knowledge. His explanations are clear, his English very good and he does not rush through the museum. He showed us the museum in a very logical way so that we could understand the different periods, in a detailed way. We stayed several hours but never felt tired or bored. It is not our first visit to Egypt and to see the many archeological sites, but through his explanations we learned many things that had escaped us before. He is truly passionate about Egypt and transmits his passion in his explanations. Also we had a good conversation about other aspects of life in Egypt. We can highly recommended him.
If you’re looking for a deep dive into Egypt’s history, Salib is the guide you want. He guided us through the museum with incredible expertise and took the time to ensure we understood the significance of each artefact. We asked a ton of questions, and he answered every single one with patience and enthusiasm. Don’t miss the chance to experience the Egyptian Museum with him – it will truly elevate your visit! We have done some tours in Egypt before, and this was the best one! Salib was very communicative before and after the tour. He gave us tons of information that was very well explained, and it was so interesting to listen to him. He took around 3 hours of his time to make the most of the tour, and he walked us to a restaurant after the tour. We are doing another tour with him this week. I totally recommend him!
Our guide Salib was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the history of Egypt. He showed us all the important artifacts and then some interesting ones that most people just walked by....did you know that you can also see mummies of crocodiles in the museum? We didn't. He was very flexible and accomodating. All in all, we felt really cared for.
Our tour guide (Salib) was amazing! He knew absolutely everything, took us on a grand tour of the museum and explained everything there is to know. The information was delivered really well, Salib was very friendly and accommodating, and I would highly recommend for everyone to do a guided tour with him. Visiting this museum will not be the same without a good tour. Thank you Salib!
Our family had a great 3h tour with Salib at the Egytian museum. Salib made the tour insightful and also kept our two teenage kids interested which is not an easy challenge. The contact was very easy before and during the tour, and Salib adapted the speed and amount of details perfectly to our needs. We would have loved to see the Grand Egyptian museum with him as well but he already another tour commited on the date we asked. Highly recommended!

Salib and Hanny were the best part...so friendly and welcoming. Hanny was very polite and managed the traffic and parking easily. Salib was so knowledgable about history and answered all our questions about Egypt today and long ago. The historic sights we visited were very interesting and the fish restaurant on the waterfront was excellent. No pressure to buy anything.
