Detta är den bästa dagen för dig att fly från stadens liv och rörelse. Njut av gratis hotellhämtning tidigt på morgonen eller mitt på dagen beroende på vilken tid du vill starta din turné. Efter en kort introduktion kan du njuta av en tur i en 4*4 landcruiser i cirka 40 minuter och gå in i denna berömda nationalpark. Parken ligger bara några kilometer nordöst om Arusha, även om huvudporten ligger 25 km öster om staden och 35 km från Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA). Arusha National Park har ett rikt utbud av vilda djur. Trots den lilla storleken på parken inkluderar vanliga djur giraff, kapbuffel, zebra, vårtsvin, den svartvita Columbus-apan, den blå apan, flamingo, elefant, lejon och många andra afrikanska djur. Leopardpopulationer är närvarande, men ses sällan. Fågellivet i skogen är produktivt, med många skogsarter som är lättare att se här än på andra ställen på turistvägen - Narina trogon och bar-tailed trogon är båda möjliga höjdpunkter för besökande fågelskådare, medan utbudet av stararter ger ett något mindre pråligt intresse. Efter 4 timmars professionell guidad tur, och efter att ha sett så många vilda djur som möjligt, är det dags att lämna parken till Arusha stad eller flygplats.

The tour said "hotel or airport pickup" and I applied because there was Kilimanjaro International Airport on the list of pickup locations, but Kilimanjaro International Airport paid $80 in cash because it required an additional fee. Also, when I got the appointment time of 7am, they didn't pick me up, and when I contacted them, they said they hadn't heard from Vaitor, so they picked me up more than 40 minutes late.
Wonderful experience, Shiraz was so friendly and knowledgeablw, looked after us so well , was a great spotter and guide. Fabulous 👌
We had an extra day in Arusha before starting our Kilimanjaro hike, and this was the perfect half day excursion to get us out of the hotel without being too strenuous given the jet lag. Ben and Linus picked us up from our hotel to take us to the park. Ben left to arrange park payment fees and Linus drove us up to the park and gave us our tour. We saw baboons, blue monkeys, colobus monkeys, giraffes, zebras, Cape buffalo, warthogs, flamingos, and much more. We had a great time with our knowledgeable guide.
The trip was offered in German, which was also a booking criterion for us. But all in English. No information that the pick-up time is moving from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm
In the park there are mainly giraffes, zebras and warthogs. There are many flamingos and other waterfowl at the lake. Since there is a lot of woodland and otherwise often very dense bushes, animals were not as well observed here as in more open terrain. If you already have safari experience, you probably won't see any new highlights here. Although there are certainly elephants and also leopards. So that's what you should be prepared for. But it is a nice and varied tour. For the safari novice this is a great way to get started before heading to Tarangire and Ngorongoro

This was the best way to spend our free day in Arusha . We booked this early morning tour and our guide was prompt in picking us from our hotel. The vegetation is awesome and the sparsely populated monkeys jumping from tree to tree. Though not many animals, but everything was great
