Det här är inte bara en cykeltur. Det är en hel halvdagsutflykt till vingårdarna, byarna och smakerna i Entre-deux-Mers, och den enda e-cykelturen i Bordeaux som samlar allt. Din Guide möter dig i centrala Bordeaux, ger dig en förstklassig elcykel, och iväg du går längs den historiska Roger Lapébie trail, en tidigare järnvägslinje förvandlas vacker cykelväg. Över 30 km (ca 20 miles), med 95% på dedikerade cykelbanor, cyklar du genom lugn landsbygd och fantastisk utsikt över vingården. Lätt, platt och helt vacker. Du stannar till vid en traditionell vingård för en guidad provning av upp till tre lokala viner, och lär dig vad som gör Entre-deux-Mers så speciellt. På vår turné börjar vi vid den pittoreska Jardin Public, där du får ett varmt välkomnande och en kort, engagerande introduktion till regionens rika historia. Denna 10-minuters session kommer inte bara att fördjupa dig i det fascinerande förflutna i vårt område utan också säkerställa att du är väl förberedd för resan framåt. Vi kommer att täcka viktig säkerhetsinformation och ge en tydlig översikt över äventyret, vilket skapar förutsättningar för en oförglömlig upplevelse.
På Palais Gallien i Bordeaux kommer resenärerna att ta ett steg tillbaka i tiden när de utforskar resterna av en storslagen romersk amfiteater, som en gång hade plats för över 15 000 åskådare. Du kommer att förundras över de imponerande stenvalvarna och de höga ruinerna som framkallar storheten hos antik romersk arkitektur. När vi vandrar genom den här historiska platsen kommer jag att dela med mig av fängslande berättelser och insikter om gladiatorspelen och händelserna som en gång ägde rum här, vilket ger det förflutna liv. Denna upplevelse ger inte bara en inblick i Bordeaux antika arv utan ger också ett unikt perspektiv på stadens utveckling genom århundradena.
På Place de la Bourse i Bordeaux kommer resenärer att fängslas av den fantastiska 1700-talsarkitekturen på detta ikoniska torg, som symboliserar stadens rika merkantila historia. Du kommer att beundra den symmetriska designen och den majestätiska fasaden på Palais de la Bourse, vackert reflekterad i den närliggande Miroir d'eau, världens största reflekterande pool. När vi promenerar genom torget kommer jag att dela fascinerande anekdoter om dess konstruktion, dess roll i Bordeauxs handelsförflutna och dess betydelse idag. Vid Pont de Pierre i Bordeaux kommer resenärerna att uppleva charmen med denna historiska stenbro, som sträcker sig över floden Garonne och förbinder stadens vänstra och högra strand. Du kommer att slås av dess eleganta design, med 17 majestätiska valv, som var och en symboliserar en bokstav i namnet "Napoleon Bonaparte", som beställde bron. Jag kommer att dela med mig av spännande historier om brons konstruktion i början av 1800-talet, dess tekniska utmaningar och dess betydelse för stadens utveckling. I Bouliac kommer du att uppleva den fridfulla charmen i denna pittoreska by som ligger på en kulle med utsikt över Bordeaux. We had a wonderful time on the tour. A great mix of history, wine and bike ride. You ride through the city and out into the beautiful countryside. We visited a cute chateau to taste wine and learn the history before lunch in a very local spot. Our guide was helpful with making me feel comfortable on the bikes and navigating the bike lanes and trails. It was very hot the day we went but the breeze while riding made it not so bad and it was an enjoyable ride.

I've done a lot of wine tours before but never by e-bike which was a great way to do it, as you cover loads of distance and it's easy on the legs. The route along the river was gorgeous and quiet, lots of wildlife, pretty houses and forest with only locals using it. The chateau was stunning and the tour and wine tasting there was interesting, with us being the only tourists . Down the road we had a three course meal, best steak I think I've ever had! All in all the trip was incredibly fun and huge value for money.

¡Genial! Aquí tienes la versión completa en inglés: I took part in two bike tours. The first was with Mika, a very kind and fun guide, who shared some of the city’s history with us. Then we headed out to the Bordeaux countryside, surrounded by nature. The ride was easy with e-bikes, and I enjoyed it a lot. At the wine tasting, we learned about the wine-making process, the team was very attentive, and we even brought a few bottles of wine home. The food was excellent, with a variety of dishes and a great atmosphere. The next day, I had a tour with Flavie, an incredible, energetic, and kind guide. This tour was within the city, immersing us in Bordeaux’s history and culture. In the end, it was a completely different experience from any I had had before, and I had so much fun. I was left with a great impression of both guides and the beautiful city they showed us. Mika and Flavie would answer all my questions in Spanish. Even though I understood almost everything they said, if something slipped by, they would respond perfectly in Spanish. Without a doubt, I would return to Bordeaux and do more tours with them.

We did the cycling tour of Entre-deux-Mers with Monsieur Bacchus and it was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences we have lived in the Bordeaux region. The adventure began in the historic center of Bordeaux where Mika —our guide and also owner of the project — welcomed us with an exciting introduction about the history of the city. We wander among iconic monuments, each accompanied by anecdotes and data that only someone who deeply loves this place can share. Then we crossed the magnificent Stone Bridge, built under Napoleon Bonaparte, and from there we started the tour to the countryside. The landscape changed completely in a very short time: vineyards, small rural roads and absolute tranquility. Our stop at the family winery Château Grand Verdus was a real privilege. They opened the doors to us as if we were guests for a lifetime, and the tasting was both intimate and very instructive. Later, we enjoyed a regional lunch with entree, plate and dessert. The food was delicious and served with a cordiality that perfectly completed the experience. In total it was almost six hours of discovery, history, nature and wine. We learned a lot about the region and its wine traditions. An authentic, humane and highly recommended tour. Mika was outstanding!

We enjoyed a really fun day, on our electric bike trip from Central Bordeaux out to the countryside, with a great wine tasting experience & delicious lunch. Good time. Michael was our host (and guide) on our jaunt through the French countryside. A little light rain in the morning didn’t dampen our spirits and it turned out to be a glorious day. The e-bikes were great, the wine tour and tasting was brilliant and lunch was excellent as well. Can’t say enough about this tour. Do it, well worth the time and the money.
