Vi kör upp till en timme från Tallinns centrum. Vi hamnar i estnisk natur, där du förmodligen inte kommer att träffa några andra turister. Eftersom platsen jag tar dig till är borta från de typiska resebyrårutterna och du kan inte ta dig dit med kollektivtrafik. Samtidigt ska du inte oroa dig eftersom alla leder är i bra skick och så natursköna som de blir. Vandringsdelen tar upp till 3 timmar. Estland är ett ganska platt land, men i det här området kommer du att se några snabbt föränderliga landskap, vackra sjöar, myrar och skogar, som ger dig en bra snabb överblick över hur den estniska naturen är. Efter vandringen kör vi tillbaka till Tallinn, där jag kan släppa av dig på vilken plats du föredrar. Så på 5 timmar kan du hävda att du har varit i Estland och upplevt vad dess natur har att erbjuda till fullo. Denna turné är öppen för väder och vind, så klä dig ordentligt. Det finns inget dåligt väder bara fel kläder. Eftersom vädret i Estland är ganska oförutsägbart, var beredd på vad som helst.

Ett av de få vattenfallen i Estland. Högsta naturliga vattenfall nära Tallinn. Vattenfallet är cirka 8 meter högt och mer än 50 meter brett. Vacker och fotogen naturtomt, som ser olika ut varje årstid. Bra ställe för foton och se det fallande vattnet från olika vinklar. Ingen ytterligare vandring krävs.

This tour was absolutely excellent. Johan picked us up from our hotel in Tallinn, and gave us a little insight into Estonian history and culture on the car ride to the walking trail, then the trail itself was stunning! We couldn’t quite believe what we were seeing, it was so beautiful, and Juhan was happy to answer all our questions. A half-day visit to the Estonian wilderness was a great balance to my time in Tallinn. Juhan agreed to the tour even though I was the only guest, and I booked it on short notice. We headed to the Paunküla Landscape Conservation Area (Paunkula Maastikukaitseala) for a truly lovely 3-4 mile hiking tour of forests, bogs, and lakes (sadly, not an animal in sight, though), then, a quick trip to the Jagala Waterfall. Juhan was a knowledgeable tour guide, as well as prompt, detail-oriented, and a safe driver.

My wife and I had a lovely time on this trip to Estonian nature. Johan was warm and welcoming, and knowledgeable about so many things. We managed to get out in the first snow before it had melted and enjoyed beautiful views of frosted lakes. The trek is very manageable and well kept. Johan gave us options too if we wanted to change the itinerary, but we were happy to stick to the plan as described, stopping for a warm brew before continuing onto the waterfall. We would both recommend this tour.
