Utforska vid ditt nästa stopp exotiska fiskar, färska frukter och färgglada grönsaker på den traditionella marknaden i Muttrah. Känn dig fri att blanda dig med publiken och glöm inte att förhandla. Bara några meter därifrån går du in i det berömda MuttrahSouq där du hittar en otalig blandning av Omani-hantverk, njut av det orientaliska ljudet och luktar guldet från Oman "Fragrances" . Vi kör längs den vackra Corniche till Old Muscat, där vi stannar för en minnesvärd bild av Sultan's Palace som är omgiven av de portugisiska forterna Jalali och Mirani. Bait Al Zubair är ett kulturarvs- och kulturcenter som öppnade sina snidade trädörrar för allmänheten 1998. Det finansieras av dess grundare, familjen Zubair. Centret visar familjens samling av Omani-föremål, som anses vara det finaste som är privatägt. Med sin växande samling husar Bait al Zubair nu en av landets största arv och permanenta konstsamlingar och fungerar som ett riktigt fönster mot Omans rika kulturarv.
Royal Opera House Muscat är Omans främsta plats för musikalisk konst och kultur. Operahuset ligger i Shati Al-Qurm-distriktet i Muscat på Sultan Qaboos Street
Väst om Muscat, vid Omanbukten, har en ny fiskmarknad tagit ställning som ett nytt landmärke vid vattnet längs den livliga kornichen i Muttrah.

Thanks to Khalid, we had a wonderful half day Muscat City Tour together with our little one. Khalid is not only very well spoken in English, knowledgeable about the culture and city and, he is very generous with his time - we finished the tour an hour past the originally scheduled time and he is with no complaint. If we visit Oman again, we will definitely use the travel agent again and hopefully we'll see Khalid again. Best of 🤞

Abid was very efficient and knowledgeable. The car was clean and cool. He was very good at helping us to barter in the souk!
One word to describe this tour: Amazing. Mohamed Abou Amer our guide was very caring, professional and informative. We visited the main sightseeing and attractions. The grand mosque, the Opera house, fish market, sultan palace, souk and at the end he took us to a great local Omani restaurant for lunch. It was exquisite. Thank you Mohamed for everything. Additionally you arranged for the next day to nizwa and jebel akdhar mountain the best tour guide of Oman (Tahar)

Top-tier service. Amazing guide Obeid was an outstanding guide, he made my first experience in Oman memorable and extremely enjoyable, I loved every minute of it. He was professional, friendly, patient, and best of all engaging throughout the whole tour. We had a rough plan for the tour but I appreciated the flexibility and laid-back nature, I enjoyed the souk, port, and the lunch was simply delightful. We visited notable landmarks, and I was intrigued to learn about the details of each and every one of them. He made the whole tour very relaxing and fun. I will totally come again. Thank you Obeid 🙏🏼
My husband and I had a great experience with Sameer, visiting the Grand Mosque which is awesome inspiring, the Royal opera house, markets, Fort and passing the Sultans palaces. Sameer made our tour truly memorable as he gave us a real insight into his and family life in Oman. He parked up and got us the best chai ( I think) we’ve ever tasted, we learned the traditional way Omani meat is cooked deep in the ground and the best dates to eat! Sameer was very open, we had really interesting conversations and I would highly recommend him🙂
We were guided on a tour of Muscat by Mohsin. The city and its history is fascinating, but what made the tour so great was Mohsin’s friendly, welcoming and good nature combined with his passion knowledge and insight about the city. Would highly recommend this tour along with Mohsin as a guide!
