Välkommen i Frascati! Vi börjar vår halvdagsupplevelse med att upptäcka den charmiga staden Frascati, känd som "staden för det romerska gyllene vinet" men också staden för de prestigefyllda renässansvillorna i de ädla romerska familjerna. Vi kommer att turnera staden först, för att upptäcka varför Frascati hade en nyckelroll i historien och i vintraditionen i den eviga staden. Vi kommer att njuta av de olika områdena i den historiska stadskärnan, och vi kommer att prova hantverksmässigt kanna vin i en traditionell Wine Tavern, en plats som besöks av de lokala bönderna för att njuta av sin fritid med vänner och kollegor. Vinet matchas med ett lokalt gott tilltugg! Vi kommer sedan att köra dig till vår familjs gamla bondgård, bara några minuter från staden.
Vi kommer att njuta av vår familjs gamla Wine Farmhouse, som ligger i dalarna av Frascati Wine, bara 7 minuter från staden Frascati. Här har vår Minardi-familj odlat vingårdar och olivträd i nio generationer, och producerat kannvin direkt i den gamla källaren. Vår bondgård är nu ett slags "Frascati Wine Museum" omgiven av vingårdar och olivlundar, där vi sprider kulturen av lokala goda viner och god mat. Vi kommer att ha ett guidat besök och provning av våra 3 Boutique Viner och EVO Olja, tillsammans med en traditionell LUNCH på gården! I slutet av upplevelsen kommer vi att köra dig tillbaka i staden där du tar returtåget från centrum till Rom! Gör dig redo att koppla av och ha kul! Instagram: minardiwinery

This was the highlight of our trip. Michelle was so fun, & knowledge and made the experience that much more amazing. Definitely a good value for the price with the amount of wine and food we got during the tour. Highly recommend.
This was one of the better tours of our trip. Enjoyed Michelle's tour and her knowledge of the area and wine. Would recommend this to friends. Minardi visit was fantastic - food and wine exceptional and the host amazing. Music, lunch, wine, vineyard tour - all wonderful.
Wonderful day enjoying time outside the city. Frascati was charming and Minardi was second to none. Train ride was easy. Highly recommend.
Michele is an awesome tour guide for this trip! We had a lovely walk in Frascati, arrived by train from Roma termini-easy and inexpensive. She walks your from train and guides you through the beautiful Frascati village with local history, to breathtaking views and to a lovely place for wine and cheese and history! Drink the wine of the gladiators! Then, they drive you to Minardi for delicious lunch, music, all the wine, views and a great time!! Finally, quiet wine time in Frascati village to enjoy a special place before train ride back to Roma! Thank you Michele and the Minardi winery
Great day in Frascati. In just 30 minutes by train, you will find yourself in the countryside surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, orange trees and fig trees. The views are beautiful and the town of Frascati is very charming. The visit to the Minardi vineyard, the wine tasting and the meal were excellent. The guide was very friendly and interesting.
I've visited Rome several times, but I'd never been big on organized tours. I booked this one, thinking it would at least be an opportunity to escape the crowded city for a few hours. Well, it turned out to be a great choice! It was more like a party than a tour---a party with about a dozen attendees from various countries. We were met at the taxi stand outside the train station by our host, shown around the (very attractive) town, and given a sample of lightly chilled white wine in a local bar. Then we got into two vehicles, and were driven to the winery a few minutes away. It is a beautiful spot, with rows and rows of grapevines across rolling hills. There we were given more wine, plus samples of the winery's olive oil on bread. High quality olive oil tastes like springtime, and this one was excellent. We walked around the property and learned about winemaking, why the soil in this area is so good for wine (it has to do with volcanic minerals), even about edible herbs that can be found in the fields. Afterward, we had lunch and more wine. They certainly didn't skimp on that! Lots of good conversation with people from other countries; and then a short concert/singalong. We had the opportunity to buy wine and olive oil; then we were driven back to town, where we could either board the train or spend more time exploring on our own. We both agreed that the next time we travel to Italy we'd like to spend more time in Frascati, and repeat the wine tour. Definitely recommended!
A really lovely excursion with a dedicated guide who showed us the city in a personal and interesting way. Afterwards, wine tasting and a delicious, homemade lunch awaited at the farm. Family atmosphere, great food and a guide that made the whole experience extra memorable.
We enjoyed a pleasant, informative tour of the lovely town of Frascati. Nico was a charming guide. The Minardi family winery is a beautiful spot with a warm and friendly staff. We were delighted to have a long visit with the vineyard’s owner, Umberto, with Nico translating very capably. Lunch was delicious and the entertainment provided by Tony and other staff members was quite enjoyable. Great value!
This was a great experience! The host was very responsive to questions, and gave very detailed, useful instructions to find the meeting place. Our guide, Nicolo was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the tavern staff and vineyard/farm staff were also knowledgeable and friendly. The wine and food were delicious, and the live music was lovely. We had delightful conversations throughout the day. I would definitely book again!
