Vi kommer att se många viktiga saker på vår väg, som det smalaste huset, det holländska västindiska huset, massor av härliga husbåtar och det enda flytande katthemmet i världen! Ses snart! Amsterdams centralstation är vår mötesplats. Denna byggnad är känd för sin fantastiska interiör, exteriör och historiska omgivningar! Där skulle vi vilja berätta mer om Jordaans historia – vårt resmål;
Amsterdams kanalring Berömd kanalring - låt oss ta en titt på magnifika köpmanshus byggda på 1600-talet och mysiga husbåtar! Tillsammans med dig kommer vi att upptäcka mer om holländsk kolonisering, Nederländernas marina historia och betydande personer från gamla tider! När vi promenerar längs kanalerna hittar vi det smalaste huset, det holländska västindiska huset, och går sedan vilse i de mysiga gårdarna! Vi kommer att upptäcka lite lokal konst, besöka den "bruna" baren och till och med smaka på den bästa äppelpajen som var mycket uppskattad av Bill Clinton!
De Poezenboot är det enda flytande katthemmet i världen. Här kommer vi att berätta om holländska attityder till husdjur och dela lite fakta om Amsterdam som en vildmarksvänlig stad.
Lutherska kyrkan, Noorderkerk och Westerkerk - låt oss titta bättre på de majestätiska kyrkorna, där du kan få reda på mer om åttioåriga kriget, dess konsekvenser och moderna inställning till religion;
Noordermarkt - ett livligt marknadstorg i hjärtat av Jordaan-distriktet! Där kommer vi att få veta mer om lokal historia, traditioner, upplopp och andra viktiga händelser, som gjorde detta område så annorlunda från alla andra! Särskilt livligt blir torget på lördagar när bondens marknad tar plats här. Det bästa stället att smaka på holländska delikatesser, som sill, ostron eller ost!
Jordaan är också känt som en av de mest kreativa stadsdelarna i Amsterdam. Därför skulle vi vilja presentera dig för några lokala konstgallerier, designbutiker och ett ovanligt labyrinthotell, som kommer att förbluffa dig!
Westerkerk & Anna Franks hus – där vi skulle vilja berätta om den judiska diasporan och andra världskriget. Viktig! Denna turné inkluderar inte besöket på Anna Frank Museum.

Maria was spectacular, shes very knowledgable about the city. We walked, talked, got some coffee and explored the JORDAAN area. She knows her architecture, the differing neighborhoods and the people who live there. She was such a delight in every way. I look forward to more tours with her in the future. I highly recommend her

We wanted to get a tour of Jordaan during a market day so this was a perfect tour for us. Our lovely guide Maria was flexible in adjusting to our family of 4 and also gave us time to explore the market on our own and the opportunity to enjoy some local treats. She was very knowledgeable, accommodating and flexible.

Nice and relaxing tour - we did it as a private option. Maria was flexible and accommodated our request for a meeting spot closer to our hotel. She was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned quite a bit about the Dutch culture in general. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour with Maria if you are in Amsterdam.

It was one of more than 10 tours for discovering beautiful Netherlands with Snurk.Travel and professional guide Anastasia Afonina. I would say- somehow the helped me to find a second home: when the Ukrainian war started - I didn’t think too much where to relocate my family as aa”safe harbour” - i was already in love with Netherlands. And although now i live here - i still allocate time for discovering this beautiful country and close neighbourhood with the same agency and same guide , as they earned trust and respect.

We did the tour with Sasha and it was really amazing He took us through different parts of the city, along the canals, and could give many interesting insights, both on new developments in the city, and its rich history. During the tour, we also had time to sit down at a small cafè and enjoy a typical Dutch apple pie. Sasha could answer all of our questions, would offer us different routes, depending on where we wanted to finish the tour, and was just very knowledgeable about the whole city. The tour was also really interactive, less of a presentation and more of just a conversation between us, which we also really enjoyed. We would really recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Amsterdam in a personal setting.
