Upptäck en annan sida av Bangkok när du vågar dig av turiststråket och utforska landsbygdens byar och klongs (kanaler). Kryssa längs floden Chao Phraya till Nonthaburi, besök en traditionell marknad och glid längs de natursköna khlongs på en raketbåt, innan du kryper in i en läcker thailändsk lunch på en lokal kulturmarknad. Turen tar dig till en plats nordväst om Bangkok på Chao Phraya River. Staden är en del av Bangkoks storstadsområde. Områdets historia är relaterad till kung Rama III av Chakridynastin. Phra Sumen Fort är en fästning som byggdes under kung Rama I:s regeringstid. Vid den tiden byggdes 14 fort för att skydda huvudstaden. Men med tiden var forten inte längre nödvändiga och revs. Phra Sumen Fort är ett av bara två fort kvar, det andra är Mahakan Fort.
Rama VIII-bron är en kabelbro som korsar floden Chao Phraya i Bangkok, Thailand.
Thailands nationalförsamling, eller parlamentet, är den lagstiftande grenen av den thailändska regeringen och anses vara en av de tre institutioner som representerar suverän makt i landet.
Distriktet skapades 1904 och fick namnet Bang Yai. På grund av sin storlek var det svårt att administrera, och 1917 delades den norra delen upp som mindre distrikt (king amphoe), Bang Mae Nang. 1921 blev Bang Mae Nang ett fullsatt distrikt.
Templet grundades under kung Barommagot av Ayutthayas regeringstid och ligger i Tambon Chalo. Det byggdes i den distinkta stilen av ett traditionellt europeiskt handelsfartyg. Många liv hade förlorats när fartyg förliste i den närliggande floden, och lokal tro dikterade att ett tempel som ett resultat skulle byggas som en båt för att ge tillbaka lycka. Även om munkarna var övergivna i många år, bosatte de sig slutligen i templet igen under kung Rama III eller IV:s regeringstid.
Nonthaburi ligger i en bördig bassäng vid floden Chao Phraya, där många frukt- och blomsterodlingar varvas med ett antal historiska tempel.

Our guide Joker was fun and knowledgeable. The organisation of different transportation means was super smooth. The route covered wide area and we saw daily life outside tourist area. People were friendly. As an extra step, our guide surprised us with a video about our experience (he took many pictures and videos and shared with us) after the trip. We were really happy with that day - time and money super-well invested!

I cannot express how amazing this tour was. Everything was so well organized and communicated. The day was so fun and full of adventure. Our two teenagers had a blast. The entire tour was full of things we would have never found or discovered ourselves.

A fantastic experience, with a variety of methods of transports you really get a flavour of thai life. 2 trains, a ferry, a tuk tuk and a rocket boat finally returning to Bangkok via a premium cab it was a great use of half a day. My guide Enjoy was very knowledgeable & friendly. Recommend highly! The rocket boat was the highlight at times we really laid down some speed.
