Ayutthaya Sunset Ride är en trevlig 3-4 timmars cykelutflykt så att deltagarna beundrar de vackert upplysta tempelruinerna efter solnedgången, en unik upplevelse! Alla tempel verkar vara mer magiska på natten och detta fantastiska cykeläventyr ger deltagarna ett helt annat perspektiv på de förstörda tempelarna. Det här är platsen där vi börjar och avslutar våra turer. Efter att ha valt lämpliga cyklar och justerar sätet, ger vi dig instruktioner och en cykelhjälm (om så önskas) och utanför går vi.
Wat Phra Si Sanphet (Thailändska: วัด พระ ศรี สรร เพ ช ญ์; "Heliga, fantastiska Allmänna Tempel") var det heligaste templet på platsen för det gamla kungliga palatset i Thailands antika huvudstad Ayutthaya tills staden fullständigt förstördes av burmeserna år 1767. Det var det vackraste och vackraste templet i huvudstaden och fungerade som en modell för Wat Phra Kaew i Bangkok.
Wat Mahathat, "The Great Relicts tempel" var ett av de viktigaste templen i Ayutthaya Kingdom. Wat Lokaya Sutha är en massiv tempel ruin. Den är inriktad mot en öst- / västaxel. Klostret har varit kraftigt restaurerat, inklusive golvplattor och tegelgolv i hela. Det mesta av templet finns bara på grundnivåen. Detta inkluderar några stubbar av pelare och grundmurar. Vid östra ingången finns rester av tre vihans. Bakom denna predikan är hallar en stor 30 meter hög, sen Ayutthaya period, Khmer-stil prang. Detta prang-torn har en ihålig ingång på dess östra sida. Resterna av en ubsot kan ses bakom prangen. Bara det grundläggande grundskiktet har överlevt, men det finns många sema stenar och detritus av Buddha bilder. Ett stort klocktorn står på den sydvästra delen av denna ubosot. Höjdpunkten i detta tempel är dess enorma, lutande Buddha-bild (37 meter lång och 8 meter hög), som ligger bakom ubosoten.
Ayuthaya är känd för sina snygga muslimska mellanmål, karry och námsprik (kryddig dopp), och den livliga underbara Chao Phrom-marknaden är platsen för att hitta dem, samt olika thailändska-kinesiska och andra muslimska rätter. Driftstiden för denna dagtidsmarknad beror på enskilda leverantörer men det är högst under början av eftermiddagen.

You drive a lot along the highway where cars rush by. There was only 1 guide. She was leading the way and didn't look back. Sometimes I stayed a bit behind and hoped to catch up again. She had a bike with a lot of gears. I asked if it could be slowed down, but we were in a hurry. (It was 32 degrees though) All in all I thought it was irresponsible and irresponsible. Glad I wasn't with my son. The guide was nice but rode ahead and didn't see if we followed.

De tour startte al 5 minuten later dan gebruikelijk en door de vieringen van het Thais Nieuwjaar hebben we de route ook wat aanmoeten passen. We willen u erop wijzen dat uw groep uit slechts vijf deelnemers bestond. Om een persoonlijke ervaring te waarborgen, hebben we ervoor gekozen om met één gids te werken, wat voor een kleinere groep als de uwe normaal gesproken voldoende is. Het is echter belangrijk om te horen dat dit niet aan uw verwachtingen voldeed. Wat betreft het tempo en de communicatie met de gids, begrijpen we dat dit voor u een punt van frustratie was. We zullen deze feedback zeker bespreken met ons team, zodat we de aandacht en het tempo van onze gidsen kunnen verbeteren. We had a wonderful evening on this tour. Our lovely guide Bella took us safely around the town visiting many sites at night. Our guide was knowledgeable and showed us a great time. It was so nice being abke to see the Wats when it was quiet. The cycling was easy and the meal at the end was great. Fantastic night with Bella.

We had an amazing time cycling through town with Bella! The office where you meet up is a little bit out of the way but you can get there easily by Grab or tuk tuk (or motorbike if you have one). Once we arrived we were greeted by Bella and it turned out we were the only ones who booked that night, so it turned into a private cycling tour. We first took the ferry across the river which was really cool and cycled around until we arrived at Wat Mahathat, we then continued on for a stroll around the night market and tasted a few local snacks/appetisers which were all great! After this we continued Wat Phra Ram and Wat Phra Si Sanphet before we stopped at a very local spot for dinner. Bella ordered a hunch of dishes for us to try and all of them were very delicious and we had never tried before. We were also the only foreigners in this place which tells you how local it was, we absolutely loved this! After dinner we finished the tour by cycling back to the office. All in all this was an amazing experience and a huge thanks to Bella for making this tour so enjoyable. Just be aware that since this is in the evening the Wats will be closed so you'll enjoy them from outside the grounds, which is still very impressive. Highly recommended doing this tour to give you a different perspective of the city at night.

The bikes were in great condition. Our guide was really knowledgeable and personable. We saw some amazing sites, and a particular highlight was standing at the top of one of the temples, as the sunset, as the bats were flying out of the temple en masse! Just stunning!
