Börja med att titta på monumenten på Himmelska fridens torg, sedan turnera den enorma Förbjudna staden komplex med din kunniga guide. Väljs av vår guide på ditt hotell mellan 08:00 till 13:00 eller träffa Guiden vid mötesplatsen vid 07: 40 eller 13: 00.Bege dig sedan till Himmelska fridens torg, det största offentliga torget av detta slag i världen. Beläget i hjärtat av Peking City, är det platsen för massiva parader och möten. Detta var platsen när 1949, från en talarstol på Himmelska fridens port, ordförande Mao proklamerade inrättandet av Folkrepubliken Kina. Av säkerhetsskäl är Himmelska fridens torg ett inhägnat torg som omges av låga järngaller med fyra huvudingångar – öster, väster, söder och norr. Torget är nu öppet för allmänheten till solnedgången, men alla turister måste passera en säkerhetskontroll innan de kommer in på torget. Så kontrollpunkter har inrättats vid alla ingångar som leder till torget.
Ha en glimt på utsidan av Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao, Monumentet till Folkets Heroes, Folkets Storslagna Folkhögsal, Kinas Nationalmuseum, den antika Zhengyang-porten och piltornet samt Tiananmen-tornet som leder till den välkända förbjudna staden.
Fortsätt sedan till kejserliga palatset, även känt som den "Förbjudna staden", den största och bäst bevarade gamla kejserliga palatsgruppen med 500 års historia. Vi köper biljett i förväg för att hoppa över linjen. Slottet byggdes mellan 1406 och 1420, men brändes ner, byggdes om, avskedades och renoverades otaliga gånger, så det mesta av den arkitektur du kan se idag är från 1700-talet och framåt. Du kommer att ha en utflyktstur i den Förbjudna staden. Efteråt kommer du att avsluta turnén vid norra utfart av Förbjudna staden. Execellent half day trip to these amazing sites. Jeffrey is a very knowledgeble and experienced guide and planned very well the visiting of the famous landmarks despite the busy times . It was a very informative and pleasant trip and I enjoyed it very much!

Fantastic trip for the day. We chose this as our day 1 trip to get up and used to the time change after a long flight. Lucy was amazing as she kept our group together and taught us about the history of the forbidden city as well as recent discoveries. She had a good sense of humour as well which made the trip even more fun. I would recommend this trip if you wish to learn about the history of the forbidden city but to also stretch your legs and get moving for the day.

Thorough and excellent forbidden city tour, however we only drove past the Tianmen square and did not enter as expected, which was a little disappointing. We were told this is due to significant lines at the square to enter. We will have to book a trip to the square soon.
