Det glittrande Grand Palace i Bangkok är ett arkitektoniskt underverk som en gång var hem för kungarna från Chakri-dynastin.
Wat Pho är ett av de äldsta templen i den thailändska huvudstaden. Det är också ett av de största tempelkomplexen i Bangkok och har den största samlingen av Buddhabilder i Thailand. Wat Pho upprätthåller titeln som landets tidigaste centrum för folkbildning, specialiserat på religion, vetenskap och litteratur. De flesta av Buddhabilderna som visades fördes till Wat Pho, på order av kung Rama I, från övergivna tempel i Ayutthaya och Sukhothai.
En vistelse i den thailändska huvudstaden är inte komplett utan att besöka Wat Arun, Gryningstemplet, ett av Bangkoks mest kända landmärken.
