Kim Ngâns gemensamma hus ligger på gatan Hang Bac i Hanois gamla kvarter. Det är en av tre strukturer byggda för sociala sammankomster och dyrkan av en legendarisk figur vördad som uppfinnaren av alla branscher. Under Indokina-konflikten användes strukturen som ett utbildningscenter för sjuksköterskor och trupper, samt en föreläsningssal för undervisning i vietnamesiskt romaniserat manus. Från 1954 till 2009 bodde ett antal familjer där, men 2009 hade de återstående 25 hushållen flyttats i ett försök att återställa strukturen till en nära approximation av dess ursprungliga design. Reparationsarbetet utfördes av Hoan Kiem District-specialister med teknisk support från Toulouse, Frankrike.
Besök det underbart renoverade Heritage House (även känt som "Memorial House") för att få en bättre uppfattning om tubhusens layout. Bach Ma-templet, uppfört på 1000-talet under kejsar Ly Thai Tos regeringstid, är det äldsta i sitt slag och en viktig struktur inom vietnamesisk religion. Det är tillåtet att besöka templet; dock krävs lämpliga kläder för att visa respekt för munkarna som bor där.
President Ho Chi Minh skrev självständighetsförklaringen som etablerade Demokratiska republiken Vietnam i slutet av augusti 1945, inne i huset på Hang Ngang Street nr 48 i Hanoi. Historiska artefakter och bevis relaterade till president Ho Chi Minh har bevarats.

St. Joseph's Cathedral är en katolsk kyrka på Nhà Chung Street, i Hoàn Kiếm-distriktet i Hanoi, Vietnam. Det är en gotisk väckelsekyrka från slutet av 1800-talet (nygotisk stil) som fungerar som katedralen för det romersk-katolska ärkestiftet Hanoi. We had such a great morning exploring Hanoi’s Old Quarter and French Quarter with Tracy. She was warm, enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable, and she gave us a much deeper understanding of the city, its history, architecture, and everyday life. What we particularly enjoyed was the way Tracy mixed historical facts with local stories and little details we would never have noticed on our own. Kokonut (Giang) is our guide. He showed and has given us lovely morning strolling in the old quarter with so many historical details. Eventhough it was raining but he did prepared a plastic rain coat for us. And we did a walk in the rain it was beautiful and very new experience to us.

I had an absolutely brilliant walking tour in Hanoi, and it was easily one of the highlights of my trip. A huge part of that was down to my guide, Hazel, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and great company, making the whole experience both informative and genuinely enjoyable. The tour took us around some beautiful temples, historical buildings, and other fascinating spots across the city. Hazel didn’t just explain the history of each place – she brought it all to life by sharing her own personal experiences and local insights, which made everything feel much more authentic. It was clear how passionate she is about Hanoi, and her enthusiasm made the experience even better. One of my favourite parts of the tour was trying an egg chocolate drink for the first time. We spend a wonderful half day with our tour guide Albert, who was so kind hearted and knowledgeable. What an amazing tour this was with Albert. Albert greeted us at the hotel we were staying at in the Old Quarter. She is very knowledgeable & was able to answer every question we had! Albert was also very accommodating when we asked if she could change things up and add another stop for us, without any hesitation she was happy to do it. Albert is passionate about her country & town & I love the story behind her name Albert (not her real name) She is friendly, well spoken & definitely knows her history. She took photos for us throughout the tour with her own phone & was kind enough to capture these moments & send them to us.
