De gamla kvarteren i Hanoi är över tusen år gamla och idag behåller mycket av den gamla smaken som gjorde området speciellt i tidigare tider, varje gata var exklusiv domän för en handel (skrån) så det finns hela gator med smeder, silverbutiker , pappersbutiker, gravstenstillverkare och mer. Ursprungligen fanns det bara 36 gator i den gamla stadsdelen men idag finns det mer än 50 gator. Även om många av gatorna är korta, och området är ganska kompakt. Det är väldigt svårt att hitta lokal mat på egen hand i gömda gränder eller trottoarer, det bästa sättet att göra det enkelt är att gå med oss och delta i denna speciella turné för att lära sig om vietnamesisk mat, kultur, människor och språk. När allt kommer omkring kommer vietnamesisk Street Food att ge dig en unik upplevelse att prova maten från det lokala Hanoi-folket.

The food tour in Hanoi was one of the best. We did food tours in Thailand, Jakarta and the Philippines and the food tour in Hanoi was a lot of fun and a lot of food. Tracey, our tour guide was very organized, very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. She kept us laughing. The food and drink were all great, although a bit exotic. The group consisted of 3 from England, 2 from Scotland, 2 from Canada and 1 American. We all had a great time. I highly recommend this tour.
This was a brilliant way to explore such a fantastic city. We were lucky enough to have Lyon, our guide, all to ourselves. He was friendly, sensitive to our family’s needs (some of us had food allergies) and had lots of stories and facts which held our interests. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking to get to know Hanoi’s cuisine & history.
The old frech quarter is a historic, beautiful, and fascinating part of Hanoi. Our guide, Jason, was not only knowledgeable about the chosen food and beverage spots, but also the history of the area. He kept us interested and entertained the entire time. The things we ate and drank were varied and delicious without exceptions. I'd definitely recommend this.
Awesome tour Very recommended food itinerary Full introduction to attractions and tasting of local snacks. If you visit Hanoi for the first time, you must not miss it. The whole trip takes about 3 hours in Hanoi Old Town. We tasted fried food, spring rolls, rice noodles, barbecue skewers, egg coffee, and fried clams. , donuts, sweet glutinous rice...the whole trip will definitely make you full😁
The tour also provided plenty of opportunities to interact with locals. Whether it was chatting with street food vendors or joining fellow travelers at communal dining tables, I felt like I was part of a warm and welcoming community.
Our guide “Jessica” was great! This tour was a great way to start our visit to HaNoi and explore the Old Town area. We tried many local dishes and had the opportunity to hear about local life (and suggestions for the rest of our stay). You won’t find a better deal!
