Austin är fullt av skrämmande historier (och vi pratar inte bara om hyrespriser eller trafik.) Följ med oss på denna härligt kusliga, 18+ vuxna, guidade vandringsspöktur som belyser några av Austins mest hemsökta platser! Vi kommer att berätta historier om andra saker som går bump i natten från Austins första seriemördare till vandringssägner och även någon kultaktivitet. Turen är en ”boo-tique” upplevelse där vi tar vårt berättande på allvar, men inte oss själva! Vi strävar efter att erbjuda engagerande spökturer som hedrar de andar vi diskuterar utan att skryta med dem med långa historiska sidor som du säkert kommer att glömma. (Vi älskar också en bra ordvits...) Observera: Denna turné är inte en djupdykning i Austins stadshistoria och är INTE en paranormal undersökning. Den enda byggnaden vi kommer att gå in i är Driskill Hotel när det finns tillgängligt. Om du ser ett spöke i ett fönster eller har en oförklarlig upplevelse, det är ett körsbär på toppen! Vi är helt enkelt leverantörer av kusliga historier.

Vi börjar vår tur utanför den vackra Texas State Capitol. Vi kommer att diskutera spöken som fortfarande hemsöker skuggorna av byggnadens historiska salar och några urbana legender som håller Austin konstigt.
Från spöken från Texas förflutna, till fantomhästar, till hemska fester, stannar vi framför guvernörens herrgård där du kan ta en snabb bild och lära dig om de många mystiska händelser i byggnaden som inträffar än idag. När vi beger oss till nästa hemsökelse ska vi prata med seriemördare i huvudstaden.
En dam i vitt, saknade godiskakor och hemsökta projektorer, en pojke som älskar trollkarlar... alla passande spöken för en känd teater.
När vi beger oss till vår slutdestination kommer vi att täcka en kort historia av vad som en gång var tänkt att vara den högsta byggnaden i Austin (skrattretande nu), förutom att diskutera ett antal Texas urban legender som Donkey Lady. Vi kommer också att diskutera några av de sekter som kallade Austin hem i svunna tider... (och kanske än idag?)
Driskill Hotel är inte bara en vacker byggnad i hjärtat av centrum, det är också ett av de mest hemsökta hotellen i delstaten. Vi kommer att täcka Austins mest kända andar här; från jilted brudar, till små flickor, porträtt som verkar titta på varje rörelse, hissar med griniga spöklika män, och mer, sparar vi det bästa till sist och packa vår sista Ha Ha Ha Haunted punch med vår turné final! Obs! Vi går inte in i Driskillen.

We went on a tour with Celia and we just had the absolute best time! She was so fun and funny and also very informative. The length of the walking wasn’t too bad and she accommodated stopping near benches for my mom to be able to sit as well. She was respectful of the victims of crimes she shared about and also differentiated when she was telling a story about something verifiable versus just lore which was neat! 10/10 recommend! We took this tour 3 days ago and we’re still talking about how much we liked it and her!

Bring your walking shoes and use the restroom ahead of time. Dress accordingly to weather and be prepared for a uphill incline

Celia was our guide and did an amazing job. I generally don't care for guided tours because they feel so canned and scripted. Celia is not that kind of guide. She covers relevant facts to set the stage, but then the magic is in the details and stories she shares. Her passion for Austin is on full display and she has gone above and beyond by doing additional research on the backstories of the people. The result is a truly unique and informative experience, and her sense of humor is the cherry on top.
