Bulguksatemplet är en juvel i buddhistisk arkitektur från Silla-eran och finns med på UNESCO:s världsarvslista och är ett av Koreas mest vördade tempel. Ursprungligen byggdes på 700-talet, tempelkomplexet visar fantastisk arkitektonisk harmoni mellan natur och design. Besökare kan beundra ikoniska strukturer som Dabotap och Seokgatap pagoder, och intrikata stentrappor som symboliserar vägen till upplysning. Bulguksa ligger bland tallskogar och lotusdammar och erbjuder andlig frid och tidlös skönhet.

This was a great tour. Visited a lot of places but never felt rushed. Lee was a great guide, giving us lots of interesting information and then plenty of time to freely explore as well. Lee was an excellent communicator, happy to answer any additional questions, with a good sense of humour. Would recommend
A lovely daytrip to Gyeongju and the UNESCO:s heritage sites. Our tourguide Lee was veryknowledgeable, also made an effort to getting to know us in the group and wanting to know our story. Lovely place to eat lunch, beautiful heritage sites and always fun to learn something new about a new place. Would recommend if you are a solotravler and dont have a lot of time in Korea.
My mom and I had such a memorable day on this tour, thanks to Alice, and Mike. Alice was incredibly attentive—my mom has a leg injury and walks slowly, so we lagged behind the group. Rather than rushing us, Alice took extra time after the group briefing at Bulguksa Temple to give us a private, patient explanation. That kind of compassion made our trip so special. Additionally, the team handled our language needs perfectly (English for me, Chinese for my mom) with Alice and Mike switching seamlessly between us. They are a phenomenal team, and we are so grateful for their kindness.
This ist a really great tour and our guide Alice was excellent. Her explanations were very informative and we learned a lot about the history of Korea. She even took beautiful pictures of us. Everything (including lunch and dinner options) was well organized.
A wonderful visit to one of the places recognized as a World Heritage site. The views at night are the best. Our guide Alice was fantastic, fun, super attentive to everything and everyone, precise with historical facts, and takes great photos.
Had a great tour yesterday. Kelly was our guide and she was so knowledgeable about the areas that we were visiting. The tour was quite extensive and we went to lots of sites. Though the tour goes into the evening which is on purpose so that we could see a couple of rhe sites lit up at night time which was a highlight for us. Highly recommend.
Ted was probably one of the worst tour guides I have ever experienced in my 40 years of travel. He barely spent 10 minutes guiding us anywhere and just told us to go exploring ourselves, and even when guiding us, he spoke for a total of less than 5 minutes about what we were seeing or where we were. That wasn't the worst part. He would set times for people to be back at the meeting point, only for us to rush our self tours, only to find that neither he nor the bus would be at the meeting point at the appointed time. At the Tombs section of the tour, there was a group of about 20 of us waiting for more than 40 minutes in the heat for Ted and the bus to show up and when he did appear, it was without apology for not answering our calls or texts (left us on read) to see where he was or if there was a miscommunication on time/place to meet. All in all, I would not take this tour.

A really enjoyable trip to the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Gyeongju with a small group of friendly Australians. Despite the cloudy and rainy weather, it was pleasantly warm (although rainy as well) and made for a memorable day exploring one of Korea’s most historically significant cities. We visited Bulguksa Buddhist Temple, as well as traditional village areas with beautifully preserved old-style homes. At the Daereungwon Tomb Complex, we saw the impressive grassy burial mounds built for Silla royalty and aristocrats. The museum was fairly small, but it included Cheonmachong Tomb, where excavated treasures—including the famous “Heavenly Horse” painting—are displayed. We finished the day at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, which was particularly nice in the evening. I did feel that the guide was a little nervous about getting everyone to each location on time, but there was really no need to rush or tipping on the gas pedal in the car. Taking a little more time on the motorway would have made the journey feel more relaxed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and informative day out with lots to see and learn about Korea’s history. It was a long day, though—we didn’t arrive back at the hotel until after 9:30 p.m. So be prepared for a full day of sightseeing, but it’s definitely worthwhile.
MJ, our English-speaking guide, explained every site visited in a very pleasant and enjoyable way. The visit went smoothly without delay, allowing us to see everything very thoroughly but at the same time with enough free time to rest in the afternoon and take photos. I would recommend the visit 100%.
A bit rushed and too late to see the bridge as only night view with lights but couldn’t see the details.
