Beskrivning
Vi följer i fotspåren av kejsar Hadrianus som år 122 e.Kr. anlände till Tarraco för att besöka en av de mest fantastiska städerna i hela sitt imperium. Vi börjar stigen i den stora tarraco-modellen för att fortsätta mot Praetorian Tower där vi kommer att frammana Augustustemplet och besöka de imponerande valven som stöder Provincial Forum och Cirkusens läktare. I slutet av turen, bredvid amfiteatern, kommer vi att avslöja nycklarna till den sista underhållningsbyggnaden som byggdes i staden, under Hadrianus regeringstid.

Very well explained by the guide A professional
Very beautiful and interesting experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable! Not to be missed if you really want to get to know Tarragona!

Booked city walking tour only to be told that it would be in Spanish only and no English tour available for the 6 days we are in Tarragona..tried several times contacting Viator but to no avail
Itinere is a guided tours enterprise located in the old town of Tarragona, the most important city in the South of Catalonia. In fact, this city has a lot of Roman remains and we decided to do a guided tour in the city center. The tour was very interesting and we could learn a lot about Tarragona and his history. In fact, we could see some sightseeing places like Archaeologic walk, the amphitheater, the Roman circus and some other interesting Roman points. Also, we could see from outside the cathedral. Really, the guide was very professional and the tour was excellent. Very recommendable.
'We're more like the Romans than we know' This was the refrain of our guide, who was very knowledgeable and really made history come alive. The two hours whizzed by (aided by a stop for a Vermut in a local bar)! I enjoyed it so much, I'd do it again if I came back yo Tarragona. Please note that because of the terrain, it's not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
It was a pleasure to immerse ourselves in the Roman Tarragona of Adrià (our guide). The tour is perfect to understand the birth and evolution of our Roman culture, the explanations become very enjoyable and fun. Thank you, Itinere, we'll repeat.
Last Thursday, September 25, 2025 we took a guided tour of Tarragona with Itinere. We really enjoyed the explanations of the guide, the Roman past of the city and rediscovering the city. They have radio guides that made it easy for us not to miss anything they told us. We would definitely repeat a visit.
